Domino's uses Provolone and Asiago instead of mozzarella.... It is *far* superior and I've even started making mine at home this way. The family just destroys them and I'm working on convincing them I need a wood fired pizza oven.

I've been ordering something like this from Dominos for years. Garlic alfredo sauce, thin sliced steak, bell peppers and onions on hand tossed crust. Always a good time. Might have to try making my own now. Since I don't have a slicer, I'm thinking just some steakums for the meat. Might be tonight's dinner now that the wheels in my head are rolling lol. Philly cheesesteaks never have peppers. Grilled mushrooms, grilled onions and your choice of cheese whiz or American cheese. Makes a great pizza or Stromboli too
Sam, if you put parchment paper on the slicer where the meat falls, it makes cleanup a lot easier. Also easy to move the meat, onions, tomatoes, whatever you sliced after. 🤙🏻
I love finishing pizza on my smoker! Haven't had one yet that is not made better by the smoker! If using a raw crust, start on smoke then high heat for the the crust. My wife is gluten free so i precook the crust in the air fryer. Add the ingredients and run the smoker on 200 degrees to melt the cheese and finish the veggies.

I'm not sure how "new" it is, but Jack in the Box has a Double Bacon Sourdough Jack burger, which the idea of it sounded delicious, having 2 seasoned meat patties, 2 different kinds of cheese, "double" the bacon, tomato, ketchup, and mayo sandwiched between 2 pieces of toasted sourdough. However, the execution was extremely poor but still tasted pretty good! Would like to see your take on this burger and if there's anything you'd change.
I don't live anywhere near a Jack in the Box but I looked at the Sourdough burger you speak of. I remember Hardee's Frisco burger from the 90's before they were bought out by Carl's Jr. Fabulous.... There is an old school video on TH-cam of their commercial if you search "1992 Hardee's Frisco Burger commercial." Same style of sourdough buns as Jack. So wish you could buy that size of bread locally here. All the sourdough is huge loaves and not burger sized round ones. Sourdough recipes take about a day to come together but I'm about to find a recipe that yields a proper sized loaf to cut up and freeze for burgers.👍
Looks absolutely delicious, but I’ve never had a cheesesteak made with parmesan or mozzarella. I’m thinking use nacho cheese as the sauce and provolone or white cheddar as the cheese.
over here on the east coast where both pizza and cheesesteaks have been thriving for decades, we have quite a few local options in MD, DE, PA, and NY that do amazing cheesesteak pizza. If you ever find yourself over here you should try!
A local bar & grill I loved to go to after work that got remodeled into a italian steakhouse this year had a bunch of pizzas that were named after songs. My favorite was the "Sweet Caroline" which had a Sweet Memphis Red BBQ marinara, smoked chopped pork, green onion, and smoked gouda cheese. It was amazing. Maybe give that one a shot.
Dominoes has a decent cheesesteak pizza, although I add bacon to have enough salt and switch the green pepper for roasted red pepper (except they just took the roasted red pepper off the menu)
Looks great!! Recently I took the family to the county fair near us and one of the food vendors had Mexican street corn pizza. It was delicious and such a unique collaboration of 2 great foods brought together. i would love to see you recreate that! It had a mozzarella base, then a generous amount of sweet corn, drizzled with mayo and finished with tajin seasoning.
The pizza hut one has a bland looking crust. Provolone works great as an additional cheese. I often do: 25% full fat mozz, 25% monterey jack and 50% non-smoked provolone. I use parm in the sauce and sprinkle more on top when finished (dry grated in the sauce and fresh grated on top). Did anyone else think of Kramer and the Seinfeld meat slicer episode?
Why not Infuse Garlic Powder and Italian spices, directly into the Dough ? I think it would give a nice added boost, to the outside Crust... making it somewhat similar to garlic breadsticks.

Most of the pizza places here in western NY would use a sweet and sour win sauce instead of Alfredo sauce for a cheese steak pizza. I would make a hot cajun sauce of some kind. looks good.

Fat itself has little to no flavor. Spices have the Flavor. Fats can help carry that flavor.. but honestly, I can make flavor-bomb food, with very little fat involved. Furthermore... its not just about fat.. its about what kind of fat. Man Made "Hydrogenated" fats / oils... stick to your internals like Glue. Natural animal fats, are FAR more healthy for you. Also, its not just about eating fatty / calorie dense food... its about when you eat them. If you eat a pizza less than two hours before going to bed... your body wont have time to process it, before it goes into "Sleep Mode"... where it shuts down major processing... and turns existing food into fat stores (rather than converting to energy).
Dominos has a pretty tasty Philly cheesesteak pizza. I think papa johns did it eventually. And now Pizza Hut is slacking and doing it nearly 20 years after dominos. Slackers!!!!

Your pizza looks great but TBH around here, frozen grocery store pizza cooked in the microwave beats all the Pizza Huts and Dominos near me. Non-chain shops are the way to go for fresh made pizza.
Domino's did it first - and better. When I make mine, I just layer Land O' Lakes white American cheese on the bottom, spice it up with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, oregano and the 'green can' Parmesan. Then I layer my veggies and meat, then add some grated mozzarella and some grated provolone. It's a bomb ass pizza. 💣🍕🔥
Hey Sam, Chance, Max, I fairly recently discovered the incredible deliciousness of Kimchi. I don't think I've seen you do a vid on it yet and Kimchi Grilled Cheese is about the only way I'll eat a GC anymore. I bet you could find a way to fit it on a pizza or burger as well.

One of the big subscription meal services has a street corn linguine recipe that's pretty good. Odd idea at first, but yummy

When adding heavy cream to a veloute sauce you need to add lemon juice to make it less sickly. Then add your cheese
