2021 College Apartment Tour || Guide Dog edition

Hi everyone! In today's video, I will be showing you around my junior year apartment at college. Throughout the tour, I'll also be giving tips on living with a vision impairment and living with a guide dog. As a blind person, I care a lot about keeping my space organized and making sure everything is in its place so I can always find what I need easily. Even if you're not blind, if you have a service dog hopefully this video can help give you some ideas of how to store things or how to set up your apartment/dorm.
It's been a busy semester and a long year and a half, but I'm here, and I'm looking forward to posting more videos this summer! I hope to get to post at least once per week throughout the summer. I pretty much have all of my summer videos planned out, but feel free to let me know in comments if you have any video suggestions, questions, or things you'd like to see on the channel!

I put bump dots on the high part of each stove dial in my apartment. Then I put a bump on each number on the oven dial and know it goes by 50 so I can turn and count. I’m partially blind and my friend and roommate is totally blind and that’s our system. We also Braille labeled the washers and dryers. I love your space, that’s a great apartment. :)

My mom LOVES to crochet and knit and has a TON of yarn, so I saw your projects and was like, that's nice; then got to "There's yarn in the ottoman." That's another level lol.
