  • This process can be used for any Acura integra rear trailing arm bushings or any civic for 88-2000. This is the most common bushing that goes bad on theses Honda’s if you have a Honda equipped with these bushings it’s probably bad because no one wants or knows how to replace them! Here I will show you a brutal yet simple process to install your trailing arm bushing WITHOUT the use of a press just blunt force by hammer 🔨 🤦‍♂️😂

I had to cut out the compensator arms bolts from the frame, what was supposed to be a $30 job is now $500. Ended up getting integra trailing arms and everything for disc swap but any1 doing this check to see if your compensator arm bolt isn't siezed to the frame or you'll be in a world of trouble. The compensator arm is the little arm towards the front of the car on the trailing arm. If it's siezed think before going further cuz ur car will be down for a while like mine.
Edit: Nice video bro and thank you, always open to seeing different ways of doing things. 👌

100% right those arms are known for being Seized inside the frame, best to check first before removal of anything!!

Thanks for the video. It’s a good idea to put the bushing in the freezer overnight. It’ll make your job a lot easier.

I am doing drum to disc conversion on my 92-95, if the bushings are shot on my integra trailing arms do I replace the bushings with integra or civic bushings, or does it not matter?

Bushings are all the same from 89-2000 civics and integras only thing different is the manufacture you choose to go to. Honda dealer or aftermarket it’s up to you! Good luck with the job when the time comes

No need to bang the old parts out. Cut it off, it will be a lot easier.

Some advice to all of you. A big hammer is needed, but preferably use a brass or lead hammer.
