My grandfather would play this when he would have a bout of night terrors to help himself go back to sleep.he was a pilot in the royal Canadian air force during world war two and this piece of music brought his heart comfort .I will always remember my grandfather for the great man he was
I list my dad sometime ago I loved him deeply. He was my best friend as well as being my dad I'm adopted but he never treated differently than my brothers. Our memories was his stories about a frog named Herkimer Shagnasty who stayed in the closet keeping all gifts safe from being opened before a holiday.

I first heard this song when I was a. teenager playing Resident Evil for the 1st time on the Playstation. Immediately blown away hearing such a beautiful powerful song. Those of you that remember the puzzle you had to solve on the video game to play this song....... You Rock!! 😁. I ended up loving this song so much I begged a friend's older sister to teach me how to play it. Never played or learned how to play a piano however I have always been able to play from memory. So she taught me the first part and I would play it almost every chance I could lol. The best song he ever created in my opinion. ❤️

Have been mesmerized by this piece since I first heard a it as a young teenager in the early 80’s. Managed to get the sheet music and taught myself how to play the first part of it but had no formal training and didn’t know how to manage the long stretch with the high notes.
