Moonlight Sonata has always spoken to my soul. I am 72 years old. I am not able to play the piano at the moment. Playing this sonata has always helped to bring me peace. Thank you very much for posting this. Now, at least, I will be able to listen to it whenever I wish.
Mt dad always played this to me. It's painful to listen to, as he was the best parent I could ever have asked for. He died two yrs ago. I miss him terribly, but so greatful to have had such a shining light in my life to guide me We were so close. I am the blessed one. Thank you, lifexxx

Even though you feel sad for Beethoven you can listen to the music and appreciate its beauty and enjoy it while evoking the emotion of sadness at the same time. Unfortunately many greatest composers, also modern ones, suffered child abuse. Also artists nowadays did commit suicide and they had a big child trauma.

There was a time in my life that my vision became poor as i gazed at the Moon in the nights Sky, i could only see a squiggly line but after a Corneal transplant i am able to focus and see the blessing of a full Moon in the nights Sky again. This piece is an enormous source of comfort.
Great news! My sight has been slowly declining since an injury years ago. Not going blind, just no longer clear and light sensitive. Always ponder on what I would want my last sight to be if I were to go blind. I love the sight of the moon and I am glad you can see it.

I keep coming back to this channel to listen to this version of this beautiful piece. I love how you play this. His emotions of fierce passion and incredible tenderness perfectly falls into the dramatic landscape of the story. I have always gotten the strong impression that he was conveying the extremely deep and romantic feelings of his first and yet forever true love that grows so incredibly deep so fast that it hurts physically to think about not having this person that he had fallen into eternal love with. The way that he was able to get right into your heart and pull on a few strings so that you actually do feel the shades of emotions that Beethoven put into this Masterpiece...is absolutely genius. Not all musicians have a True understanding of what the original Composer was truly trying to convey even though they can play it with skill. Sometimes we just aren't conveying the Emotions of the song and so it's a bit different. ( I was a singer : ) With Beethoven his intent flows through his Heart and onto the keys like fluid.... like Pure magic Connecting his Soul to the instrument.. . I used to play this music for my wife when she had cancer to calm her soul. But now i have a hard time when i play this music, because it reminds me when she was sick. She passed away.

We are all not perfect, we all have regret, yet we are forgiven by the loving God, who imparts to us gift's like this. Ask Jesus, for forgiveness for we are all in need of forgiveness, as then we forgive other's, to forgive as we have been forgiven. And like children depend upon a loving God and rest in that love.
So many beautiful Moments. Some broke Up with Life for God wanted them. Some married. Some have a Family. And some loose it.

I keep coming back to this channel to listen to this version of this beautiful piece. I love how you play this. His emotions of fierce passion and incredible tenderness perfectly falls into the dramatic landscape of the story. I have always gotten the strong impression that he was conveying the extremely deep and romantic feelings of his first and yet forever true love that grows so incredibly deep so fast that it hurts physically to think about not having this person that he had fallen into eternal love with. The way that he was able to get right into your heart and pull on a few strings so that you actually do feel the shades of emotions that Beethoven put into this Masterpiece...is absolutely genius.
Not all musicians have a True understanding of what the original Composer was truly trying to convey even though they can play it with skill. Sometimes we just aren't conveying the Emotions of the song and so it's a bit different.
( I was a singer : ) With Beethoven his intent flows through his Heart and onto the keys like fluid.... like Pure magic Connecting his Soul to the instrument.. .
This is Truly a Beautiful Sonata in every way. And the fact that there are still talented and skilled pianist's like You that are a Pleasure to listen to and I very much appreciate the opportunity to hear Masterpieces like this performed with such Grace and Beauty, definitely

I used to play this music for my wife when she had cancer to calm her soul. But now i have a hard time when i play this music, because it reminds me when she was sick. She passed away.

Try holding the image of your wife before she got sick in your heart next time you play it. Picture her smiling. If she and her soul could still hear you play from the other side - I'm sure it would make her happy and bring peace to your heart and soul as well. ❤️
