Hi Brian, I didn't comment so long, I did watch quite a few videos though. I have a story for this one again, Matt mentioned in a pretty recent interview, that hearing the studio version done and finished in 2006 for the first time on good,.big speakers made him say to himself (quote) "we did it, we're finally cool". Edit: Oh and this was the song I could learn to play without weird pedals (if you do a bluesy simple solo) back then. When I had it down I knew it was possible to ever play something this "hard". Yes, Chris had some filter where he sounds like multiple singers. Not anymore though I think. This is a great version, I remember first hearing the song, I would forever love lots of fuzz over regular distortion. Great reaction too...best wishes!
He did play it more tame and with lots of kaoss pad before and after this recording though. The Wembley version actually predates this. This is superior to me too, but an overall exception and not a general thing he stopped doing ;)
@@jan.plays.guitar. Yes, I am aware the kaoss was used before and after this performance ;) My point is that it used to be a song I looked forward to in sets, and now it's a bathroom break song. Same with Starlight. Their original live formats were SO intense. Edit: Btw, I still do enjoy Muse live today! Saw them in August and seeing them in two months!
