If/when I have a son, this is exactly how I will decorate his room.
How wonderful to see a kid’s room that’s not all bright colours and plastic! I’d have loved a room like this when I was a child. I hope Jameson adores his new space.

A family in love with being a family, a mother and father that love their little boy with a special kind of love that comes through in what they will do for their child to enjoy his home, his bedroom and be able to look forward to a blessed life of lots of caring, fun times. I absolutely adore the bedroom design for your son. It is sophisticated, whimsical, playful and imaginative. It reminds me of a room you would find in “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” or “Alice in Wonderland”. Simply charming, I would have love to have a bedroom like this when I was young. Stunning!!!! Can I suggest putting one of the tabs of the curtains on the outside of the hook holding the curtain rail? It’ll keep them from pulling in from the outside when you close them, and make the window look wider.
you should have a million followers. idea for the tent: add painted stripes to match his bedding to the ruffle part and it will look more boyish. :)

Love the houndstooth trunk under the dresser, the hundred acre map over the bed, the sweet bee pillow in the reading nook... and the gorgeous brass lamp with the black shade. Who would have guessed dark academia would work in a little boys room. But it totally does!!!!! A magical retreat!

This is sooooo adorable and I think you have a healthy way of encouranging your boy to use his imagniation and learn about nature (not all parents seems to think about suchs important things). I loved story books and fantasy realms as a child too, but as a girl I was way into princesses - and the works of Swedish childrens' writers (because I live in Sweden). Found your channel today and I really like your work, you are skilled at this and also very inspirational. I also wish I had my own house, or at least apartment, to style, but that doesn't stop me from collecting trinkets, old books and other things I love 🙂
