I remember an interview where Bert said he tries capture an essence of an idea and all it encompasses when he writes a song, whether it’s death or addiction or whatever. And sometimes he knows he fully captured the aura of the idea. That really shows in their songs because so much of their music affects you deeply in ways you can’t always put into words 😊

The used never disappoint. Been a fan since 2001. Seen them live about 50 times. And I've hung out with bert multiple times in 2004. We even went snowboarding together. Check it out its on the tube. Bert at Brighton!
