Ja, das hört sich sauschnell, laut und vielversprechend für die Zukunft an. Der Judd V8 ist einfach purer Sauger-Genuss. Das macht Vorfreude auf mehr. Bin gespannt auf das nächste Rennen am Hemberg. Danke für den professionellen Shot von Verzegnis.
Wir sind immer da wo es laut und schnell ist ;) Schweiz ist im Plan aber der Kalender ist übervoll mit Motorsport: WRC, Grasser Racing, DTM, F1, MotoGP, ELMS, Rallyelegend...) und am Freitag geht es schon wieder nach Sternberk. 4 Tage zuhause ist zu viel :-P
War er denn in der Wertung? Denn ich konnte ihn leider nicht in den offiziellen Ergebnislisten entdecken. Oder gibt es wenigstens eine offizielle Zeit? Furios sind das Fahrzeug und der Fahrer natürlich allemal!
Es gibt von den E2 Autos keine Wertung nachdem das Rennen abgebrochen wurde wegen extremen Regen! Das Video dazu folgt noch... auf fb ist schon ein kurzer trailer zu sehen. Es gibt nur Zeiten vom Training und da war Reto noch vorsichtig unterwegs.
Yea, the matter of sound. 90 degree flatplane v8 always sounds this way of proper racy melody a high revs compared to typical crossplane. Regarding power i assume Reto is bit overwhelming with 610hp. Yes, thats possible conditional upon 11000 rpm but I doubt i goes so high :)
@@coliimusic Man you totally def or something? No crossplane could ever produce that high-pitch roar 🙂 Porsche's flat 6 is a completely different stuff to my ears
@@eyesrightout If it were a flat crank, it'd scream without any roughness to the exhaust note. I make the comparison because at high revs the C8.R and 911 RSR have very similar engine notes because neither of them are odd-firing like this Judd. That's why I love it so much! It's not wailing like a formula one engine, it roars like a real mean V8, just listen to the launch control and tell me that vaguely resembles your average flat-crank. The way I think of it is, a flat-crank is like welding two inline fours together, you can quite easily distinguish the harmonics. Whereas a crossplane V8 with 8-to-1 exhaust makes more of a screaming roar like the 134

@@eyesrightout So it has uneven headers then? even if it sounds like a growling mustang when it's at 7-8k RPM? Interesting that it doesn't sound closer to a more modern F1 scream. Either way it's no use arguing unless I can see the car myself

I was wondering how this car compared to georg plasa and his 1 series? would they have been in the same class competing against each other?
i think the 134Judd was faster than the SLK340 because the 134Judd was lighter and georg was in a windtunnel.
