The Ranger is very cool, but the Stuburban is just awesome! Takes brass to wheel such a big beast! And I love the hood. You should do a video on the hood mods - I don't remember seeing that. Great stuff guys! I love watching this. My 80 K5 is in the middle of a frame off rust repair and engine rebuild resto so no wheeling for me in the last 2 years or so.
Was just out there on Saturday. I put my 2 door JK on it's side on a tall optional line, luckily just drove though it and it righted. Stop and eat lunch by the creek on the way out for some shade.
Recently everyone in our club has been picking up these cheap Baofeng two radios that are awesome for truck to truck and even better for spotting. Just leave it hang off the dash and listen to your spotters commands. No more lookin for hand signals.
This trip we realized that we need some of those radios this trip. Everyone had them but us. We have Cbs but we were the only people with them it seemed lol.
We actually didn’t know we were at The Fall at first because it wasn’t there. 2 years ago one of the guys we were wheeling with got a little cozy with it. 😆
Come on where is the faith 😆. Weight distribution makes it want to go end over end lol. It's about 1000 lbs heavier upfront. I didn't touch the brakes at all once I started going over the fall to prevent the back end from popping up
Those bare metal fenders on that yellow jeep and and thoae bare metal bumpera on that red jeep would complement a nice black jeep. But outta all rigs your chopped suburban is awesome. Just needs some kind of bedliner paint hop then it would be perfect in my eyes. 👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍

Great vid! So not being from Utah, I'm trying to get a feel for the different trails in Moab. The first part of the run it seemed real nice and easy, the kind of trail I'd be fine taking my daily on. Can you opt out of all the rock ledges and go another way or do you have to turn around and go back?

Correct. We met with another guy from Yukon and Lyft off-road. Full size invasion ran top of the world on this day and we opted out. @merricksgarage will have FSI video from this day

I ran 10psi during most of the trip. This was really the first time being able to test out the tires, so I’m working on finding the right pressures. They look stiff in the video, but they had a good bit of bulge to them.

She gets a little excited when she gets vertical. 😆 That is some fluid from the vent on the magnum box. I spoke with Stephen from Offroad Design about it. It’s normal due to how I have the vent routed. Might have a short video about it later.
Part of being in Moab during Safari, is dealing with crowds. We expected it going in. The benefit is getting to watch a lot of different off-road rigs do obstacles, and pretty much the entire off-road industry is there, so that was cool to see all the company rigs and meet people like Dirt Head Dave.

This trail you could pretty much do in a tame 4x4 because most ledges have a bypass. The bypass around the fall would be the sketchiest part

The wheel base was never changed. It remains at the factory 129.5”.
