TSA locks are rubbish, all they are good for is preventing your bag from falling open. Anyone can get the TSA keys for those locks to easily open them.
My travel luggage consists of pelican cases, with steel reinforced lock mounts. I dare baggage handlers to cause damage to that. If they need to check my bags, they can ask me. I really don't trust the TSA not to swipe stuff, it happens much too often.
They are pretty pricey, and made for high value equipment, like cameras and electronics. But assuming the baggage handlers can even damage them, Pelican will replace them free of charge. But that's what you get for guarantees for things designed to military specs designed to protect equipment worth thousands, if not tens of thousands. It will probably be the last case you ever buy, on the downside, toughness means weight, which means less stuff in your bag. But if you're bringing a computer, or valuables, it's definitely worth it for peace of mind.

Doctors Without Borders seems to be an amazing organisation, they don't have politicians to push them around, that's how it should be everywhere, you put a doctor in charge, you go back to your business and you let him work. Too bad most of our politicians saw this as an opportunity to play the hero... it didn't work.
having medical knowledge or other resources in a disaster situation is next to useless without proper logistics. Logistics need authority and power to be implemented, which usually where politicians fall in the picture its not as black and white as "politicians trying to playing the hero"
I had Pneumonia in November 2014. When I went into the Emergency room the staff acted as if I had Ebola. They asked me if I had been out of the country or to Africa in the past six months. I sat in the room by myself for around 45 minutes to an hour before a doctor or anybody saw me. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and everybody was relaxed (like oh you don’t have this deadly illness you just have this one.). I was in that hospital for three hours in the AM during Thanksgiving week.
During the closure of the airport after the terrorist attacks in Brussels they transfered as many other flights as they could to other Belgian airports.(small airports used to having one-two passenger flights a day) Setup a crisis center to answer peoples questions; They hired busses to get people from Brussels to these airports... It was a huge operation that costed them a lot of money, more money than cancelling all flights, they didn't have to do it legally, but still they did. I made a trip during that period and the return flight was a code share, the operator wasn't even bothered to tell me the status of my flight, 1 social media message to Brussels airlines and they rebooked me on one of their flights to belgium. The people who run the daily operation of the airline do an amazing job, sadly the board of directors prefers to sell out the company to Lufthansa for no apparent reason.
Start in a poor and populated area close to air and seaports. Moderately upgrade the transmission and resistance without increasing lethality. As soon as Greenland and Iceland have been infected, BOOM! Free organ failures and comas for everybody!
But the coronavirus is much worse. This was an epidemic which means it stayed in one area. But the coronavirus virus is now a pandemic so it's all over the place. Also really confusing in Canada during flu season...

Coolkitten 12358 bruh the flu could mutate as well but nobody cares about that like the only reason people are scared is because it is a new virus and because the media exaggerate. The virus is no more dangerous than the flu
@MsSunhappy You can only really know the mortality rate after the fact by looking at the dead to recovered statistics, the 4% is a comparison between the Dead vs total infected so there is no way of knowing how many of those infected will end up dying or recovering. As of now the official numbers from China (As if you can trust anything China say..) dead vs recovered is at 81 dead vs 59 recovered, if this statistic continues the mortality rate will be catastrophic, but there is no way of telling with such low numbers. And this will be much harder to contain than ebola since ebola only spreads after the infected start showing syptoms while the coronavirus can start infecting others 10 days before any symptoms appear. If a case is discovered at day one of symptoms showing in a country it just means there is a potential of 10 days that it have already been spreading among the population.

@@l.c.1042 In Plague inc. , yeah. In the game's map, Greenland doesn't have many connections to the world and is classified as a cold climate. Since it is very expensive to make a plague cold-resistant, and it would take a long time to infect by connection, you're better off if you start the plague there.
(Time of infection only matters when research for the cure has started, and since Greenland has very few people, it usually doesn't start if you have only that country infected)

TSA locks are rubbish, all they are good for is preventing your bag from falling open. Anyone can get the TSA keys for those locks to easily open them.
*Hacks all the things, drinks all the boose*
To be fair, most bag lock holes are garbage. You could cut most of them with frikkin' wirecutters!
My travel luggage consists of pelican cases, with steel reinforced lock mounts. I dare baggage handlers to cause damage to that. If they need to check my bags, they can ask me. I really don't trust the TSA not to swipe stuff, it happens much too often.
@@kais.8689
I'll have to look into that. I didn't know quality cases existed.

Logistics need authority and power to be implemented, which usually where politicians fall in the picture
its not as black and white as "politicians trying to playing the hero"

I had Pneumonia in November 2014. When I went into the Emergency room the staff acted as if I had Ebola. They asked me if I had been out of the country or to Africa in the past six months. I sat in the room by myself for around 45 minutes to an hour before a doctor or anybody saw me. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and everybody was relaxed (like oh you don’t have this deadly illness you just have this one.). I was in that hospital for three hours in the AM during Thanksgiving week.

Time to make a note to always fly Brussels Airlines if they're servicing a route I'm going to.
you're so virtuous - not all heroes wear capes
During the closure of the airport after the terrorist attacks in Brussels they transfered as many other flights as they could to other Belgian airports.(small airports used to having one-two passenger flights a day) Setup a crisis center to answer peoples questions; They hired busses to get people from Brussels to these airports... It was a huge operation that costed them a lot of money, more
money than cancelling all flights, they didn't have to do it legally, but still they did.

Came here to rewatch after coronavirus started to spread so quickly. Hopefully, it will not be another ebola-like epidemic.
@MsSunhappy it could mutate though
Coolkitten 12358 bruh the flu could mutate as well but nobody cares about that like the only reason people are scared is because it is a new virus and because the media exaggerate. The virus is no more dangerous than the flu
@@alfie.rayner Might be... we don't know yet
it'll be much worse
