Amazingly old embroidery contains mother's fingertips and heart

I came across the modern cross stitch that were popular around the time of liberation in 1945,
I've collected over 1000 points in 10 years.
I'm in my mid-40s, so I don't have any memories of that time
While listening to many people's memories, I will share the memories I collected
I'll tell you what I felt and small episodes.
In embroidery, it's written in Korean It was spread by foreign missionaries
Various characters such as English were used.
Once upon a time when we were poor without a closet or duvet,
I used it to cover my blanket or clothes and to prevent dust
There were embroidered cloths covering the perches and various kinds of props.
It's made with the sincerity of each and every woman of great value
in the history of art It's our cultural heritage.
It reminds me of my mom's 50s and 60s

여인들의 손끝마음...
1945년 해방 전후로 유행한 근대 십자수를 우연히 접하게 되었고,
10년 동안 1000점 이상 수집해왔습니다.
저는 40대 중반이라 그 시절 추억이 없지만
많은 분들께 이야기를 들으면서 제가 대신 수집한 추억들을 공유하고
느낀 점과 소소한 에피소드들도 들려드릴게요.
자수에는 ​한글, 전통적인 길상 문자,외국 선교사들이 전파했기에
영어 등​다양한 언어가 사용되었습니다.
변변한 옷장이나 이불장도 없이 어려웠던 그 시절
이불이나 옷을 가리고​ 먼지를 막는 용도로 사용했던
횃댓보와 ​다양한 종류의 소품들이 있었습니다.
한 땀 한 땀 여인들의정성으로 제작된​
미술사적으로도 가치가 높은 우리의 문화유산입니다.

그 오랜 시간동안 관심ㅈ갖고 모은다는게요
울엄마도 자수를 잘 놓으셨는데 제가 보관하지 못해 항상 안타까워요
제 나이 63세 되니 엄마의 유품중 앉은뱅이 재봉틀하고 자수 작품을 챙겨 놓았었더라면 하고 늘 마음아파해요
