There wasn't a single joke in this video, he was just explaining how the Canadian family court system has turned him into a slave.
It just sounds like he's joking because what he's saying is so FUCKING patently absurd. Thus illustrating the tremendous injustice of the situation.

Wow - he speaks the truth. I was someone who had to pay child support based on $120,000 per year salary when I was currently only making $40,000. When I was making more money I paid more in support than I was obligated to because it was the right thing to do. When things changed for me the courts didn’t care nor factored in the extra I paid. It was a very dark time and the only time in my life I considered suicide because I felt so trapped. I was going to get evicted because I couldn’t afford to pay rent. Fortunately I had good friends that gave me a place to stay so I could afford my payments. This is no joke.

This is how you know things are never going to change. When is the last time you heard of a Court house going up in flames with the people working there inside it?
Or Family law offices being destroyed during any kind of riot? It never happens.
You can get thrown in jail while watching people who just killed people in Chicago get let go by the DA. Over 12,500 of them to be exact in the last 2 years.

    • @charleshetrick3152
      @charleshetrick3152 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Re over population, the estimate for total humans by 2050 is 9.5 billion, if the whole world were as densely populated as Houston Texas the entirety of the human population could fit in the United States with 800,000 sq miles to spare. So if we invaded canada we’d have way more than enough room to spread out a bit. That would leave an immense portion of the world completely depopulated, which might not be such a bad idea. The whole of the North American continent could be one massive moderately dense city.

Men earn thousands of dollars more than women even in female-dominated professions. Women in the US earned on average 82 percent of what men doing the same work earned in 2011. There should be a set maximum limit for child support. You are supposed to pay for the childs upkeep, their basic needs, not the wifes living standards. Otherwise why is it called child support?

Perhaps his wife made some decisions with that money while he was married to her, would that not be a possibility? Statistics aside, it does not mean that all women fare worse and it does not mean that courts should treat every case with some cookie cutter resolution. It does not sound to me like Dave begrudges any of his children anything and was simply trying to make sense of something that is completely insane. Too much emotion and too little reason my friend so try again.

yes. But I'm 50 and not a grey hair in sight. Clean living or do I just refuse to grow up? I think the latter.

Name-calling, original and mature. BTW, neither the US nor Canadian legal system is feminist. Real-life feminists have been calling out sexism in so-called "family law" for decades. But it's interesting that folks only pay attention to sexism when it's hitting them in the wallet.

Couldn't he vie for child custody. Hi ex- partner's condition sounded like really bad conditions for raising children.
But seriously, your children will be the closest thing to you in the world after your parents, and your spouse genetically and possibly spiritually. I would never let mine go. In a better world the father would triumphantly establish and lead conditions for his family above all. Men should represent family and quit being afraid to be fathers and husbands.

piggypoo I think that's a healthy reaction, to at least think about vasectomy for these reasons.
The problem with that is, personally, once I stopped wanting to impregnate women, both consciously AND UNCONSCIOUSLY, I lost a lot of my interest in sex. Most women my age don't want to get pregnant, either, and intercourse seems pointless, now, more like a formality than actual sex.
Like more and more men these days, I'm ridiculously content to stay home and masturbate.
Even when I am with a woman (like last Tuesday), I would rather go down on her and get a head rush from her orgasming on my face, than actually fuck her. I used to fuck like a beast, when I was young, dumb, full of cum, and dating fertile women. (I didn't consciously want children, but subconsciously, I absolutely did want to breed, from age 18 onwards. My subconscious was constantly betraying me. The women and I were just bullshitting ourselves with inconsistent use of contraceptives.) Intercourse is pretty boring to me now. And I'm definitely not attracted to other men. So I keep pretty much to myself and the Internet these days. That only worries me occasionally. I don't actually need a woman, or my own family, and I love my life.
But many guys say they have reduced libido after vasectomy, and I think that's a rational psychological reaction. Intercourse is pointless. I'm happy with cunnilingus and a good two-fisted handjob. MAYBE just a few minutes of doggystyle.

He really, really needs a strong prenup that sets up child support. If he ever gets married again. And 12 year old me wouldn't be able to say no if he asked.
