We just purchased a new 6150 combine like this one. Love the paint scheme! My grandpa bought a new 1460 combine 40 years ago to the month that my dad and I just purchased this one. My son is currently 10 years old and that is how old I was when grandpa bought his combine! I remember coming home on the school bus SO excited and could not wait to see grandpa’s new combine. Now my son has experienced the same exact excitement I did 40 years ago! That 1460 lasted our family farm operation 21 years, and we are looking forward to the future with this heritage model also! Thank you Case IH for bringing back the legacy model, it brings back so many memories!
😁👍👍. Great history. The classic look is nice to see in 2020. The farm in this video also started with a 1460. They had a 5140 XP that was traded for this 6150. They have run red all the way through.
@@bigtractorpower So have we. My grandpa started with a IH 403, then an IH 815, then the famous 1460, that I purchased from him in 1993. After that i purchased a 1680, a 2388, and now the 6150! My grandpa would be so proud of he was still alive. I am the 5th generation to farm our land and my son plans on doing the same. Great video!

It reminds of home and when i was young and bullet proof My uncle had the first 1460 in our part of the world. would enjoy seeing a green stiger again as well.

I love the classic color scheme and I found it interesting that you chose a 1440 to show the color scheme in all its glory as my late grandfather had a 1979 ih 1440 and i have alot of wonderful memories riding in it keep up the amazing videos

I just love the look of the 6150. I had to stop and go back to the dealer when I saw it the first time. I wasn't sure what I was seeing. They should go back to the IH look. Thank you for the great video as always!

They sure stand out. This one showed up at my local dealer on November 5, 2018. They were announced as new for 2019 in October 2018. I think it has to be one of the first ones made. This is one of two in my area.

Wish they would square up the hoods on the Maximum, Pumas, and Magnum tractors too look like the 88’s and use the throw back colors like with this combine

I remember the old Case tricycle tractors painted orange with a big steering arm that stuck out in front of the tractor.
The SC Case is a classic.
Here's a bit of trivia for you ,a big Caseih dealer in Australia painted a combine in these retro colours first and Caseih in America found out about it and decided to do these retro series machines .
I saw the Australian combine in 2017 I believe. The IH retro look is cool.
I would love to see Case IH would return to the classic IH colors of ca. 1975 on their machines. Abolish the black, reserve the silver for the grill screen only. The European IH tractors best exemplifies the tractor color scheme. The 915 combine best exemplify the combine color scheme I would prefer.
If they were to offer a series of machines giving a nod to the Case colors of the past, I would prefer it being the white and orange color scheme used on the tractors thru the 90 series. It would be interesting to see a combine color scheme to reflect that too.
On another note, thinking CNH Industrial might do something like that would require some changes in how they manufacture their machines today. Both CaseIH and New Holland combines are produced at the Grand Island facility. New Holland models does not have white cab roofs in their history, but they do have the New Holland red on other parts of the machines. The tractors might be easier to work with, since both New Holland (Ford) and IH had white wheels and cab roofs in their past. In case of both combines and tractors, making the chassis in the brand color of the tractor would likely require an investment in separate painting systems, or dividing the production schedule up into periods with only one brand being produced. Alternatively, separating the production of machines of one brand from another by factory could be another answer, since the volumes of machines vary by continent. Either way, it is just speculation on how heritage paint scheme models could be done, or not.
They need to keep this color scheme. Worked for Versatile.
Hello Jason I have to tell you little story. When I was a kid I’m 43 years now . My Dad work for International Harvester company be for I was born. I grow up around Case IH I can remember that paint on the combines and some tractors. Long story short. It’s awesome to see that paint scheme again great video Jason. But now we both work for John Deere.
IH was a great brand. I always enjoyed visiting my local IH dealer. I would like to see a retro John Deere combine.

Someone contact Case and tell them every combine needs to look like this for now on. I’m a International man from an international family but it definitely seems like they lost their way in the last 20 years.

Not yet. I have asked Case iH HP Azariah now there are not any running in the region this fall. They will fully be on the market next year. It will be a top priority to catch one.
AGCO should still be orange and this is what caseiH should be painted like

i miss my ih 915 combine they build one with a 50 percent bigger threshing and seperating area with a 375 hp with 55 power boost.

CaseIH would sell a lot more tractors and combines if it went back to the IH logo, white rims, and all black or brown interiors. There’s a reason JD stays #1, they look better! CaseIH get rid of those ugly grey rims, red seats, and go back to the IH logo and name, dump case.

Some times it just does not work. It was rushed as he was on the last passes of the field.
Lose the case and Go back to just ih
IH was a great brand.
