I haven't worked with watercolors since my college days (a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away). I'm getting back into it, but boy do I ever need some refresher courses! I think this channel will be my go-to for that. 😊💚
Your work is gorgeous. This one actually brought tears to my eyes.

In 1990, I painted a series of Water Color 14x20 scenes of various art from landscapes to people. As life got in the way family and business, I didn't find the time to paint again. Watching your wonderful videos, just recently, I picked up my brushes again and started to paint. over the course of 3 months, watching your techniques, actually made me a better painter and finding out how relaxing it is. I will continue to watch your informative videos and highly recommend your channel to others. Thank you so much.

Beautiful painting…love the daisies and Queen Anne’s Lace in the foreground! What I am not getting is the perspective in the water area…the first section of water with the islands looks right in proportion…and could be a lake with the mountains and hillsides behind the “lake”… But the second part of the water looks far too big and out of proportion being further back in supposedly the distance! This somehow looks out of place… and the water looks like it just stops in a wide line…at the base of the background mountains… The little islands appear too small then in perspective of the large water behind… I guess I am not getting this! Sorry…

Hi Karen, I think you responded to my comment yesterday, but unfortunately I accidentally deleted it. I've been trying to paint your daisy "depth and Distance" painting. I'm having trouble adding wet to the dark mountain tops. You just bang, bang do it. I've seen several of your videos where you talk about needing a stronger mix when adding the second mix to the first. I've tried over two dozen variations altering the 1st and 2nd mixes and all I get are back runs or total bleed throughs to the 2nd mix. What am I doing wrong? Do you cover this type thing in more detail in your "Patreon' membershjip?
