In my dojo, we call it the C Punch. One of my favorite punches. Mostly cause it looks like from Liu Kang's final attack on Shang Tsung at the end of the original movie. And looks similar to the hadokens, kamahamaha waves, and other many references. When Daniel did that to Silver, I was like, "I train that attack!!!" :)
Your "no2" is an outside block not an inside block. Though did move in with an outsideblock. Maybe that's where the confusion was. Also noticed Daniel didn't twist his wrist into any of his techniques. Tells me he's not an actual karate martial artist irl. 👀
@@randomgamer3498 Says the gamer, lol. A double punch is not effective at causing pain or damage. It is, however, effective as a pushing technique. You're splitting up your power and hitting pressure between two points as opposed to just one. So, if you can punch with a total of 200 lbs of pressure, you're now putting 100 to each fist. Further more, the snap at the end of a punch that does the most is harder to execute without your body twisting, so you lose some there.
Ralph Machio has soft hands. There is no strength in his techniques & he winces way too much. I know how bad that sounds but this is a perfect example of poor choreography.
I totally agree, he's supposed to be really strong and experienced but in reality his movements are slow and couldn't do any serious damage to the opponent. I get that he's old now but even in the original trilogy it wasn't that impressive. Johny, Chozen and Barnes were obviously way better fighters and it kinda seemed like a plot armor. I don't have any problem with Ralph otherwise though, he's a pretty decent actor. I just wish he had better moves since he's the original protagonist
@@ananya4228 What I really see in the clip (with the benefit of slo-mo) is how he pre-loads his techniques because they’re rehearsed. That s**t won’t fly in a real fight.

Such a cool combo. Is a double punch to the chest a practical move?
Yes
