I found your vids checking out Parker boats on the TH-cam. Good stuff. I admire your all in fishing and energy. I’ve set my Parker up more as a cruiser as I fall in the wanna be fisher category, but the Parker can always go fishing. I thought I noticed in one of your vids that you changed out the tabs to 12x18’s? If you want to try one more mod to really improve the ride, check out adding a “Permatrim” to the cavitation plate on that 300. It will lower your planning speed another 1 to 2 knots and help lift the stern/lower the bow in head seas. I’ve run it and the 12x18’s on my 2120 for about 10 years now. The Permatrim was the best $150 mod I did hands down. Good call on that 300, the older Yam 250’s are barely enough for the 2320, IMO. I have the old 3.3L F225’s on my 2120 and it is not over powered but any means. If I ever re-power, I’m putting a 300 on mine. There is nothing efficient or safe about an under powered boat. It’s not about top speed. Good luck on the water Capt.

I recently purchased a used 2520 sports cabin deep V. New 300 Suzuki mounted on the transom. No extended transom bracket. I So far have not taken it out in rough seas. Do you think the deep V will not have the pounding problem that so many complain about.

I purchased the 2120 sport cuddy satisfyied with ride but it is a bit bow heavy and wet boat, do you have that issue with the 2320 ?

195lbs and when looking at a used 2320 is 1200 hours too high for Yamaha 250. Also do you think it’s underpowered ?one more question what model shimano reel do you use for the cows? Thanks Ralph tight lines and continued success
1200 hours is nothing for a well maintained motor. I had the the 250 Yamaha and pushed it hard and had no complaints. The Shimano Taigra 50 has never let me down and took on 300+ cows to the death! Tight lines. Let me know if their is anything regarding Parkers/Big fish you would me to to talk about, tight lines.

Know your gear. Buy all the same gear too. I have 5 tiagras 50wlrs and 5 matching rods. We put new top shot on a few tines a season and that's when I wonder if my gear is up to par. Can't wait to see you off Ensenada this season.
