I can aknowledge how good her stability and calmness is in moments of crisis, how smart she is, how much she listens, but also by how much good she did by shifting her party more towards the political center and how hard she works. Looking over to other countries like the US I am glad that we have her as our Bundeskanzler. My political ideals may wish for something different but she as a person is someone I can accept and respect in her position. I would never vote for her party and I hope that the party loses more votes when she leaves because the CDU without her is just well... everything already bad about the party without the good things she brings to the table. I'm pretty sure the party will shift to the right again without her.

Phasing out nuclear power was done because of public pressure and because her party lost a state level election to the Greens, when it had always been a safe state for the CDU. Furthermore, because she had previously repealed a law phasing out nuclear power (by SPD-Greens-coalition before 2005) and suddenly changed her mind about nuclear power after Fukushima (she has a DSc in physics, mind you), now the German state has to pay massive compensation to the energy companies.
While she was praised for approach to renewable energies around 2010, since then a lot of jobs in the wind and solar sectors have been lost.
She has also been accused of not doing much more than managing the status quo, not adressing major structural problems outside of crises.
One recipee for her success is definitely that she excels at taking credit for/appropriating the successes of her coalition partners (such as the introduction of a minimum wage in 2015 which had been demanded and implemented by the SPD), decimating their numbers in the polls, even going so far as to push the FDP out of parliament in 2013.
It's a similar situation with Covid right now, most of the successful measures are implemented by SPD ministers, while most CDU ministers are a disaster right now.
And possibly most importantly the regime of financial austerity she imposed upon southern european countries in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis leading directly to privatisations and severe cuts in social spendings in these countries, which has massively impacted their ability to respond to the Covid crisis (not enough hospital(s) beds in Italy, for example).
Not saying the video is wrong about her accomplishments or her success at staying in power, but a lot of things were left out.

Angie will go down as the best chancellor in history of the German 🇩🇪, Federation despite all critics and up and down... herzlich Glückwünsch..

No just no. There were real chancellors like Adenauer, Erhardt, Brandt and Schmidt. The chancellors since Kohl are just stripping down germany of it's riches and social structure to make the 0,001% even richer. Don't believe this bs.

I think Adenauer will always have the edge, but she is a close second.
