Foxen Anime I don’t think deku is too OP look at how long it took deku to get where he is now with One for all and he still can’t use it at 100% (without eri/anime movie magic) and which each new quirk he has to start at square one to master it along with staying on top of his control over Black whip, One for all etc. so as of now I don’t think he’s that OP 🤷🏾♂️

Dexton Mino I think it’s more than Deku is already becoming OP and his growth is accelerating way too fast. Not only is he now capable of briefly throwing out 20% attacks without issue. He’s also now going to get multiple quirks to throw into his fights. It feels like he’s just being handed all the power instead of earning it.

Black whip was explained to not be able to be used at 20 percent or else it freaks out and lashes out everywhere. And even then he wasnt able to use it in battle he just grabbed some cars and then immediately turned it off. That's not very fast at all. If hes gonna keep up with shigaraki who just got a zenkai boost to his decay quirk and is being experimented on to be even stronger just being able to punch things real hard isn't gonna help him lol

I forget how good MHA is to staing on the manga and very few filler (i think there is 3 in the series). I think this season ends after the school festival which is a perfect ending. I highly doubt we get to endeavor arc or much about angel dude

Idk I'm thinking possibly. Do you remember when All Might used his right hand for bait when fighting All for One, switched his power to the left, punched All for One, and then used his right again for the United States of Smash? After was a brief dialogue from Nana and she passed the power to All Might, his hand seemed to heal during that power up. Idk if this could be another quirk healing him or just something along the lines but I won't be surprised if there was some healing type quirk within One for All.
Idk how any hero could possibly keep up. Deku has way more versatility than any hero and 7 generations of powers stored in his quirk. Having to compete with that is just bullshit smh and it ain't fair either lol

From what we see in the manga you could argue he may or may not be worthy of it but what makes him unique to me is that he knows the mechanics of OFA and knows just how strong he has to be to surpass all the power that comes with it and he's still aiming to do it and with his own power at that. So many plot holes, so much asspull because he couldnt manage a decent power cap on the characters which made battles drag on too long (especially towards the end). Shigaraki is like the anti Deku and is working on being the "best villain", so he needs story relevance and power too. I know what you mean about the other characters though, they seem to get the Iida treatment, one arc of relavence before being banished to the background.

As far as quirks, only 6 of them had quirks beyond the first: 1.> One for All (AFO's brother) 2.> Black Whip 3.> ??? 4.> ??? 5.> ??? 6.> ??? 7.> Float (Nana) 8.> No Quirk (Toshinori) So, there are only 4 more quirks that could manifest with OFA and Black Whip (updated after reveal of Nana's quirk)
Woooow BNHA powerscaling is pretty weird now that you think about it. That kick was at "100%" (40% of previously gathered and built upon power, he's been given but in the meantime he's built on top of that IMHO) Eri fixed it before he could even feel the pain. It's this level constantly used throughout the next of the episode ~+10%. Let's remember we see madlad Deku in the opening credits probably punching, maybe kicking so hard he generates enough light to illuminate what seems to be the entire continent of Asia.

I feel a great solution to the six quarks wouls be that all of those extra quarks are support oriented and not highly suitable for combat. Black whip can grab stuff for sure but it doesnt seem like he can do anything with it either than that. I hope we get to see more support quarks come from cause that would make the fight choreography and tactics on par with jojos. Super hyped
Eh. All Might left everyone on the planet but AFO behind when he was in his prime. And from the beginning we got told each OFA user was stronger than the predecessor. That's just how the quirk works. So of course Deku was going to leave everyone behind. In fact, I'd call BS plot armor if any hero managed to keep up to any degree once Deku hits his prime.
Deku’s 100% is held back due to his body not being stronger. In his adulthood he will be way more powerful due to how his body will actively multiply his physical strength better.
You got good points. He will be getting even stronger and eventually pass Peak All Might levels. But his body still needs to adapt and that will take some time. Not a lot if the recent progress the villains have been making is any indication. Shigaraki's Quirk evolved as well as Toga's, and not to mention the possibility of everyone else's Quirks are doing the same. The story says it's been 200 years since the first Quirk manifested itself and that it a lot of time for evolution to do its work. Deku might be OP soon, but that doesn't mean that everyone else in the world isn't going to be too far behind. As for Black Whip, he admitted that he can't use it too well unless he crosses a specific threshold with his Quirk. That may be the same with his other Quirks coming in. He's gonna be busy and will take a while to reach this same level of strength as Infinite 100%
I dig him having other powers. While one for all is powerful, I wouldn't go as far to say it's boring, but a variety of powers is more interesting to me. This is coming from someone who never plays the warrior class, and tends to go mage though, so I'm definitely bias
The music was perfect for this. It wasn’t exactly heroic but ominous and dark. It wasn’t Deku’s hero moment. This was Deku’s transcendence. He is on his way to becoming a “God”. The same as all might. I hope thag cameras caught Deku’s fight and now people see that Deku can in fact become the dazzling light that hero’s need.
He is Definitely NOT too OP i mean he has the freaking one for all man... if it was all might in peak condition, the fight would have been over in seconds.. (my opinion)
I think that, at the end of the day, this is the story of Deku becoming the world's greatest hero. So if he is op by the end of the story, then it totally works for me, because I think he should be.
all might wasnt aware of the extra power with OFA. In all honesty I was wondering early in the series, around season 2, about if the quirk stockpiles and is pased down then it should have other available quirks.
You mean this as if he never gets any recognition, he’s the main character, all he’s going to get half the time is recognition, the new movie for example too, I wanna see the side characters get some too yeah, like some more of Kirishima perhaps, and I’m not even a fanboy of his, he’s not even my favourite, though he’s got so much potential too.
I think the whole point of the series is Dekus rise to power as the greatest hero. In that sense him being more and more overpowered makes sense as the series progresses, and each one of his failures and obstacles put in his path not only make sense but seem more rewarding as time goes on. We already know the end goal, so really we’re all here for his struggles on the way to that point.
I feel like Horikoshi is pretty grounded as a storyteller. IMO, I think he's gonna strip away Deku Powers-like he's gonna lose all of it by the end of My Hero. I say this because the overarching story of My Hero is mainly about Hero Society and how it has alienated those without quirks and those who never had the aspirations to become heroes due to outside factors like Shigarki. At the end, I think he's gonna nerf the shit out of Deku when he finally fights Shigarki or All for One at the end. Why? Because the first question that Deku ever asked is "Can I become a Hero even without a quirk?". The hero society has been built on the framework of having useful quirks to get ahead in life and that's the main issue that the villains have against society. But if they see Deku rise above all other heroes despite being a normal dude, the villains ultimately lose at an idealist standpoint. Granted, Idk how he'll ACTUALLY do that. He might just a pull a batman and use his intelligence to defeat Tomura or All for One-but I think generally, that would be a fitting end for the series and to tie everything back together to the first question "Do I need a quirk to become a Hero?"
I don’t think there’s any way he’s going to take all this time to build Deku up just to strip all of his powers away, and make him normal again. Maybe for a short arc sure, like when Spider-Man doubts himself and loses his powers,but that’s no way that’s the conclusion to the series. It would be a huge slap in the face to all the time we have invested watching him learn his abilities and trying to find creative ways of implementing them into his fighting style.

So many plot holes, so much asspull because he couldnt manage a decent power cap on the characters which made battles drag on too long (especially towards the end). Would've loved to see him kick ass with that form but Kubo didnt have the resources to keep the series going. Wish they didnt spend so much time on that broken ass Valkyre dude

@@arnielw.4862 to be fair, the story is mainly about Deku becoming the "best hero". Shigaraki is like the anti Deku and is working on being the "best villain", so he needs story relevance and power too. I know what you mean about the other characters though, they seem to get the Iida treatment, one arc of relavence before being banished to the background.

@Kingdrago101 They are already getting more powerful. Most of them just aren't putting in the work that Deku is since he has a lot to live up to.
You got good points. He will be getting even stronger and eventually pass Peak All Might levels. But his body still needs to adapt and that will take some time. Not a lot if the recent progress the villains have been making is any indication. Shigaraki's Quirk evolved as well as Toga's, and not to mention the possibility of everyone else's Quirks are doing the same.
The story says it's been 200 years since the first Quirk manifested itself and that it a lot of time for evolution to do its work. Deku might be OP soon, but that doesn't mean that everyone else in the world isn't going to be too far behind.
As for Black Whip, he admitted that he can't use it too well unless he crosses a specific threshold with his Quirk. That may be the same with his other Quirks coming in. He's gonna be busy and will take a while to reach this same level of strength as Infinite 100%

The music was perfect for this. It wasn’t exactly heroic but ominous and dark. It wasn’t Deku’s hero moment. This was Deku’s transcendence. He is on his way to becoming a “God”. The same as all might. I hope thag cameras caught Deku’s fight and now people see that Deku can in fact become the dazzling light that hero’s need.

I think that, at the end of the day, this is the story of Deku becoming the world's greatest hero. So if he is op by the end of the story, then it totally works for me, because I think he should be.

I think the whole point of the series is Dekus rise to power as the greatest hero. In that sense him being more and more overpowered makes sense as the series progresses, and each one of his failures and obstacles put in his path not only make sense but seem more rewarding as time goes on. We already know the end goal, so really we’re all here for his struggles on the way to that point.
Everyone else’s quirk evolutions are going to have to be mad.

I feel like Horikoshi is pretty grounded as a storyteller. IMO, I think he's gonna strip away Deku Powers-like he's gonna lose all of it by the end of My Hero. I say this because the overarching story of My Hero is mainly about Hero Society and how it has alienated those without quirks and those who never had the aspirations to become heroes due to outside factors like Shigarki.
At the end, I think he's gonna nerf the shit out of Deku when he finally fights Shigarki or All for One at the end. Why? Because the first question that Deku ever asked is "Can I become a Hero even without a quirk?". The hero society has been built on the framework of having useful quirks to get ahead in life and that's the main issue that the villains have against society.
But if they see Deku rise above all other heroes despite being a normal dude, the villains ultimately lose at an idealist standpoint. Granted, Idk how he'll ACTUALLY do that. He might just a pull a batman and use his intelligence to defeat Tomura or All for One-but I think generally, that would be a fitting end for the series and to tie everything back together to the first question "Do I need a quirk to become a Hero?"
Or he'll just punch harder like he usually does. Either one.
I don’t think there’s any way he’s going to take all this time to build Deku up just to strip all of his powers away, and make him normal again.
Maybe for a short arc sure, like when Spider-Man doubts himself and loses his powers,but that’s no way that’s the conclusion to the series.
It would be a huge slap in the face to all the time we have invested watching him learn his abilities and trying to find creative ways of implementing them into his fighting style.
