This legit happend to me, we started 1v1ing, I won of course and he was still being toxic, I was saying gg wp but he would not stop spamming thumbs down. He then picked my main, (gnash) lost again, and continued to be mad about it, so I did the only reasonable thing, thumbs down, rip and mad emoji then left after doing the cry taunt after beating him for the fifth time. I tried beating toxicity with niceness but he didint change.
I hate when you try to be a good sport when you lose and your opponent proceeds to rub their victory in your face like emoting constantly and spamming "thumbs down" or something.
What do you expect in a game where in every battlepass they have tons of missions about taunting your opponents. The devs reward toxicity… there I said it.
i refuse myself to do the emoji mission, that one in this pass season, from the first week, where you have to gravity cancel taunt at every match end, it is there since week 1, i refuse myself of being this toxic.

I checked his stats online, this guy had 1k+ hrs on the game and was diamond, i think i was gold or low plat. It was definitely a fascinating experience.

I had something like this happen to me today. So I beat a guy in experimental and he was dead silent after my gg wp. He inv me to a custom game room and we played 7 games. I won the first 6 all while choosing random. The only reason I lost the last one is because random gave me cassidy which is my 2 worst weapons. After he won he was immediately toxic. Every other game I said gg wp thumbs up I was as nice as I could be. Some people are just not nice :/

He is very vulgar and is the textbook definition of chronically online. He just gets washed by everyone in every fighting game he plays but still acts like he’s some sort of god.
great part of the community of this game are toxic kids or people that act like that and this is really annoying. not talking about spammers cause i hate them too but it's a way to play the game, and there's nothing much to do about it. but what about all this toxic people? there's people that literally spend time training to don't let the opponent caught a weapon, for me this is despair, not ability, the guy literally don't let you show how good you are, what is the fun to win like that? and the people that spam emojis and all these type of things like ok man, you win, congratulations, well played, there's no reason to show up like that, it's just a match, it's just a game i have a personal way to have some fairplay inside the game and some rules that i follow in every match: - in mostly part of the matches i pick up the weapon first, so i always let my oponent pick up his weapon too. - i never underestimate any players, always going with all that i have despite if the guy has any skins or these type of cheat, cause for too much time, I don't have any of that things and this means nothing. - losing a match, i always try to to congratulate my oponent, if he or she played well, and deserve my congratulations, it's good to make other people feel good too. - wining a match, i always have respect for my oponent, saying GG an WP and sometimes even asking for a friendly rematch - never taunt after eliminating an enemy, i always stay quiet and wait for him to get back to the map and pick up an weapon - something that it's impossible for me it's to don't respond and good emoji, like that one from the campfire or that kiss from de valentines day, cause if you're playing an online game, this is the point of it, the interaction this is my personal way and you maybe don't agree with something here but i really wish more players played like this.
