Melton makes soooo much sense. He can play a bit of back up PG which would allow if we select a PG in the draft to take their time to develop and he would give us insurance if GtJ leaves

No hate to JFL, but the team's PG depth is so bad that a 38-year-old Kyle Lowry would be an upgrade.
JFL is not a natural point guard anyway, he’s naturally a two guard that they forced into the PG role. For the Raptors905, Marquis Nowell was the point guard whenever he was healthy

@@gregsaddie topic would be an amazing fit I just don’t like his shooting coming in. Yes he could develop but I’d rather someone ready to shoot. Dillingham intrigues the hell outta me too. I’d take him over sheppard probably but for some reason my gut keeps going back to sheppard as the Raps choice for fit.
@@leitchman86able I would realistically take Topic and Castle for their size and better playmaking; I know for a fact their shooting will improve, given how skilled and hardworking they are as players. Small guards like Shepherd or Dillingham won't be serviceable to play alongside IQ, so they will be our sixth man. And then, sooner or later, they will leave our team to find a starting role.
Preference is to make some deals with teams like Pelicans up against the cap . Hope you do a segment on that before the draft JG.

Tbh we dont know what this team will look like so this convo is pointless. Will we keep the pick? Will we buyout Brown? Will we resign Trent? Will we buyout/move Boucher? All of this effects the offseason so this convo should be on hold until the offseason starts.

Oh that's a good under the radar player. Him and Trevlin queen as a couple of sneaky signings without damaging the CAP. Hopefully get a couple of good picks. Sign a back up PG and we're well on our way. Problem is even if they signed those players for some reason they wouldn't get playing time ....maybe add monk to those players and we have a good enough middling team I'd say
