Brought back some great memories Marlon. I had 1 day there (didn't even stay overnight) and I never felt so rushed. I'd 100% return. It was cool you could hike between, a lot of the roads were closed when I went.
Definitely my friend! I was there three full days and I also felt rushed. The Via dell’Amore was closed for construction and didn't get to make that short hike among others. I would definitely go back in a heart beat. There is plenty to do and see too! I may try and go in the low season (fall)!
Marlon! Nice job on the video and hike. Your kids did great and hopefully didn't complain too much, looks like they had fun. I love that beach and that hike, did it in Sept/'13. What a special place, thanks for the reminder!
Thanks, we had a blast in Cinque Terre and it is truly one of my favorite places in the whole world. I hope to go back someday! Thanks for stopping by my channel!
Thank you for this! I was trying to get an idea of what the trail looks like and if it would be doable with our 4 kids. Very helpful! I also have a Go-pro I never use. You have inspired me to dig it out and start taking some pictures with it. Thanks again!
Really nice video. What were you shooting with? GoPro? I'm 59, fat, and not in good shape. Do you think I can still do this hike or is it likely to be more than an old guy should try? Tough to say, I guess, but I'd appreciate your advice.
Hi there! I am not sure why I didn't see this message before so I apologize for the late reply. I filmed this video with the Canon G7X and GoPro Hero 4 Silver. As far as the hike goes, I would say that if you decide to go to Cinque Terre and want to do this hike consider exercising and training a bit before going on a hike like this and when you do go, just take it easy. Don't do it in the summer though, it is blazing hot!
Hi Marlon, We are headed to CT at the very end of April. Have 2 nights and 1.5 days there. Is this enough? We like to hike, maybe take a boat ride, and explore towns? Would you recommend adding another day?
Susanna Latham hi! We stayed 3 nights/4 days and honestly and I felt we didn't get see everything, there is plenty of hiking, wine tasting, and sight seeing and each town is unique. For example day one for us was hiking from Vernazza to Monterosso, spent about 2 hours at the beach there, explored the town, had dinner and headed back to vernazza via train. I would definitely add the day or if possible.
Nice Job Excelent video , How long did it take to get Monterosso from Vernazza, What would be approximate distance and Do Need to pay for trail use ? Thanks
Thanks! The hike is about 2-2.5 miles (4 km) and can be done in about 70-90 minutes, but I stopped a lot along the way so it took me about 2.5 hours. Their is a small fee that you have to pay, but I can't remember the exact amount it's around €5-7.
nice video dude this helped a lot so much to plan my next trip. those cliff jumps were so cool lol
