You say once a month for mainteance but how many days do you supply it in the water? I usually change the water every three days. Would that be fine - once a month for a three-day period? And thank you for the great video!
For Finches, 3 continuous days once per month. Give in the morning when fresh water is provided, then change it late afternoon for fresh plain water with no ACV in it. Repeat that process for 3 days. Thank you for your kind words. Glad you liked the vid 😁
I use Apple Cider vinegar daily in my Finches water as it reduces the Ph of my water (I live in a hard water area). Presumably finches drink mainly rain water in the wild which is Ph neutral. It doesn't seem to do any harm so it seems reasonable to use for preventative mainternance. Not sure about its effectiveness for specific health conditions though.
Dave off topic from this good advice with ACV which was well presented. my off topic question is what do you use in your flights ie on your walls are they artificial plantation? I just like the look of them and wondered where you got them from? been a while you still doing video's hope all well.
Hi m8. Yes, I'm currently finishing up a teaching course so its been a bit consuming & not had time for much else 🥴 Yes, artificial plants. A mixture of silk ones & plastic ones. Think I got them all from Swell Reptiles 🙂
If you mean adding it to water that already has a vitamin supplement in, I would avoid it. My suggestions are solely based on using this with just clean water. If you mean vitamins on food, & acv in the water - then from my personal experience, that has never caused any issues

Hi As far as I know, not for pet birds providing they aren't native or wild caught. Regardless, every breeder should be following the correct ethics either way
