I'm confused. This comment which is years old states that if you use the ball technique as seen in the video and drop the ball you'll make a mess. His sentence structure does not point it towards the correct technique which would be the egg. Also, isn't this comment years old?

I was thinking the same thing. My piano teacher must have been bad. I also didn’t practice that much during the week. I have been playing for 12 years and the best song I know is merry go round of life.
I mean, people usually focus only on learning harder and harder pieces, and becauze of that they lack in technique. If you can play, for example, Moonlight Sonata(1st movement) but with perfect technique, intonation and expressivity, you are already much better than someone who can play winter wind with her technique.
