Nah they are still an issue because of the gap it has. Can confirm this because they broke a 2nd time and they always send 2 pairs not just 1. Heck I even got 3 😂😅
@@itsresho2813 there isn’t a gap anymore they increased the length of the plastic that attaches to the triggers. So it doesn’t take much movement to register its almost instant

@@vCuda thx for recommending the wolverine ultimate, bought the elite s. 2 earlier came with stick drift out of the box, aim controller earlier, which had bad paddles, nacon which was complete garbage, now i feel more confident with the wolverine, at least the controller has good paddles and is very accurate, thx man
One more thing, these thumbsticks are NOT compatible with Kontrol Freeks unfortunately 😥 Also, I didn't mention it but Xbox isn't entirely safe from poor custom controller upgrade options. Battle Beavers XSX controller is 😬😬😬

Best PS controller: Dualshock with a right kontrolfreaks thumbstick and the 2x Sony (clipon) back buttons. Lasts years... You will be good using this controller a long time before it breaks. More than I can say about any other combo...
It has been 10 months and ExtremeRate/HexGaming has made a new rise remap kit that is worse than the scuf paddles in placement because the controller is so big and the way they placed the 2 extra buttons in the middle of the controller but without the reliability of those scuf paddles that would easily break.

I planned on working with a couple of smaller controller builders last month, but I decided to make an extremely rash financial decision that I'm still paying for lol. My biggest suggestion for an upgrade on the Dualsense would be ExtremeRate's clicky buttons/dpad kit that's only $17 on Amazon and doesn't require soldering. Perhaps you'll want to do a video on it sometime since it's (relatively) simple for anyone to install? I use the filthy Razer Wolverine Ultimate largely because of the buttons/dpad being clicky the way they are. It makes a major difference for games that require precise button presses. For a comfortable clicky dpad (that can be used in anything including fighting games) and mouse switch buttons to be on the same controller, it's pretty much the only option that comes stock that way.
Incredibly nice review, I recently got a Dualsense as a gift and immediately came here to see options to potentially upgrade it. And while I can absolutely be on the side of this controller is too fucking big, I'm also glad a controller made for gorilla hands 6'10'' me exists, I never had these sorts of comfy grips, but again, not everyone in the planet is this size of unga, and I think Sony could potentially make an "S" version of the controller, just like Xbox did with their Duke. Regardless, expensive stuff, however I might check out the back pads, really need something for Armored Core.

Thanks man! And unfortunately, I have taken a long look at the c40. It's a very unreliable device if I'm honest, but a very interesting concept. I'd say the eswap X Pro is a better option for a swappable module Controller, but the ultimate will provide a better competitive advantage

You should definitely do a battle beaver controller review. I have had one for PS4 and the triggers are actually clicky (at least on PS4 I'd assume they'd use the same ones for PS5) and remapping is very easy. Definitely imo the best custom controller company

Believe me, i do! Ive gotten many comments from both ends of the spectrum over the years But this is a BASE Controller. Meaning every PlayStation comes with one, and evey custom Pro controller is built on this enormous monster. Base/stock Controllers should be geared towards the average users hand size IMO.

Actually the dualsense sometimes i wish it would be a bit bigger (or longer because my small finger is just on the edge of the corner) but its okay im used to it, for me the thrustmaster eswap X pro was just perfect size but i got me a dualsense with the 4 button rise4 kit because i can overclock it to 1000hz, the eswap maxed out at about 300hz. In terms of accuracy theyre almost equal (because both use radial dead zones instead of axial deadzones like xbox controllers, however, i find that the eswap sticks are a bit to loose, almost like a series elite 2 on the lightest tension, while the dualsense is something between the mid and heavy tension of the elite series 2, and it feels even more lose when u use a high rise kontrolfreek.
I was thinking about getting a hope remap kit for my series x controller, and wasn't sure about the button placement. what are your thoughts about the button placement, and how comfortable they are to use?
Well I have to be brutally honest. I bought the Hex gaming controller and I didn’t like it. The build quality is fucking phenomenal, but the comfortably on this controller sucked to me. I sent it back within 2 weeks of having it. The paddles are way the fuck back there. Just wasn’t my cup of tea. To the people who have it and like it, good for you. I am still trying to get the FPS Scuf controller for PS5!

I dunno man. Scuf is a totally different company now and that Instinct Pro is a totally different deal. Different owner now (Corsair), different manufacturing plant (Corsair plant in Taiwan). Corsair makes WAY better quality shit than a lot of companies, so I'm honestly looking forward to a Scuf controller for the first time.
Well, you're forgetting one thing. Different owner, different plant, same controller parts. The thumbstuck modules will be the same as last generation. The mobo will be very similar too. The bumper design on the Series X Controller is the same bumper design from previous generation Xbox Controller as well. Unfortunately, the base controller scuf is working with isn't too dissimilar from last generation. So I'm not expecting great things. Either way, we'll have to wait months to know for sure, but the Instinct seems to already be developing problems
