Gordon Sargent is the No. 1 ranked amateur in the world and secured his PGA tour card after only two full years in college. Sargent recently announced that he will return to Vanderbilt for another year of college golf, and he found some time between classes to take the Broken Tee Society inside one of his range sessions. Watch as Sargent makes his way through the bag while talking through his setup keys, swing thoughts, dramatic shallowing move and where his incredible power comes from.

Wow his right hand is so soft in grip just before takeaway and his hands look right ontop of each other. His glove left thumb you can really see it in the V of his right hand. His striking is so crisp!
my grip is very similar (left hand thumb sticking out of the V) and I do ok with it, but everyone calls it a "clitoris"... lol
So smooth and natural 🔥🔥🔥
Kids got crazy talent
His grip looks wild. U can see the thumb of his glove hand sticking out below his right hand
What’s the name of the song in the beginning and end?🤩
Reminds me of a young Jordan Spieth. Grid and all.
What did he say at 2:36?
did he grow and put on 20lbs of muscle since last year ? guy is going to be scary good
The question about his “shallowing move,” lol. This guy isn’t thinking about shallowing the club. He just swings, man. It’s only amateurs and TH-cam golfers who can’t stop obsessing over manufactured “shallowing moves.” 🤦♂️
Ohh mann, it’s always steep/over the top golfers who can’t fix it that say stuff like this. Many tour pros and top amateurs work on shallowing the club in transition because the truth is it leads to more consistent ball striking
@@callummacrury9647shallowing the club is a byproduct of a good swing
@@callummacrury9647yeah im sure scottie is working hard on shallowing the club, not consistent enough
Is he on tour? I always hear the golf media talk about him yet I never see him play
He has his tour card secured but is electing to stay in college for another year!
@@GolfersJournal thanks for the info! He’s got a great swing
Would be better with trackman numbers
“Exagerous.”
he from Alabama, gotta cut some slack.
Always chuckle when these elite golfers claim to not be technical players. They were probably coached so early that it’s become natural, but good golf is only technical
“Usually” “kinda” “really” “maybe”
Almost unwatchable
Disagree
Sorry he talks like a kid who's unsure of himself and not an alpha bro "dominating" a sales pitch
He's young kid bro
Clicks on the video for golf, disapproves for grammar. What a winner
He is a #1 kid top golfer not a #1 debate team captain.
