I always love your analysis and how quickly your getting to understand some of the mind of Ren (no one really knows what goes on in there😂). Yes, all of his tracks are layered. Central themes are his illness, societal issues and duality as you've noticed. Never filler words, even his light heated fun tracks contain those issues, people just don't realize it. The words blood, murder, and words that reflect his disease as in Murderer. His psychosis episode from 2015 and his other mental illness struggles reoccur in almost every track, most don't even notice it, like in his song Murderer. (His album title Sick Boi reflects that). The beat is inspired by Kanye's Black Skinhead. The video is full of Easter Eggs, which . I've learned from watching so many reactions. His favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut (Vonnegut's work often explores themes of pacifism, social equality, and the need for decency), Aldous Huxley (Dystopia, Consumerism, Technology and Control, Existentialism, etc.) Stanley Kubrick (Clockwork Orange) and George Orwell (Animal Farm). Here the video depicts Animal Farm, Clockwork Orange and Lord of the Flies according to Ren in Rolling Stone, and his Easter Eggs. Long comment, sorry but I thought you might want to know. 😊
This is why I luv renegades so much❤I was gonna give some info about this song but I think you covered it plus some! Thanks for saving me some typing😂✌️🫶
I pick up more and more on each reaction, one you missed The Shining easter Egg (Another Kubrcik) The Tricycle in the hall he walked past. I think we'll be finding more and more I am sure, clearly a Kubrick fan, Where's HAL ? has to be in a video somewhere. "I"m sorry Dave I can't do that."
There is so much in this video! Willie Wonka meets Orwell meets Stanley Kubrik meets Ren's brain. There are so many easter eggs--the Orwell's commandments in Animal Farm, Ren's suit and cane cover both A Clockwork Orange and Willie Wonka, the Coolridge painting of dogs playing poker, the Sick Boi butcher in the kitchen with the cage and head from Illest of All Time (which you haven't seen) to The Creature From the Black Lagoon in the tub (the GILL-MAN... Ren's last name is Gill, and he's a man) to Eyes Wide Shut and Witches of Eastwick, to nursery rhymes to political commentary. SO MUCH EYE-CANDY!!!
I love that they chose to release the perfectly imperfect acoustic version where Sam fell over at the end on the bus. It speaks so much to Ren's authenticity. It was the best version of the song, so he gave it to us, even if it didn't quite go to plan!
Towards the beginning of the video, Animal Farm’s “7 Commandments” are written on the wall. Basically, four legs good, two legs bad. That is why Ren has a cane; he’s got 3 legs. Also right beside the writing on the wall is the only other human on the video. I believe Ren has “confirmed” that he the victim from the Murderer video 😂 Great reaction as always!

This!! I've reaf JRR Tolkien and he mentions things from The Lord of the Rings all the time. He also uses video game references and blows my mind when he gets them in on the sly!
This is fun, creative.... and deep. If you want to go deeper you need to read Animal Farm by George Orwell. The 7 points are written on the wall at the beginning of the video. The book is based on Stalin and the Russian Revolution so this is a song, about a book, about a point of history. It's RENception. It also has symbolism from Clockwork Orange, a dystopian video by Stanley Kubrick based on Anthony Burgess's 1962 Novel, again another RENception. What makes it better is it doesn't matter if you know the references because you can still enjoy it as a stand alone piece. I sometimes feel like Ren is playing Chess while the rest of us play checkers.

btw the kittens on the washers relate to the nursery rhyme Kittens Washing Their Mittens - Ren's details are in everything and he sure loves his nursery rhymes ☺
Lots to this for sure. With Ren: The official video is where you just sit back and absorb every visual moment Ren gives us. The acoustic version of Ren's songs is where you pick up the lyrics. He always seems to annunciate more clearly in the acoustics. Ed to add. Ren is very well read. If you have not read Animal Farm, you may miss some of what is referred to here. The novel used to be compulsory reading in high school. Looking at the world's political strifes today; it is a shame it is still not taught. (Lord of the Rings was a novel long before it was a movie. If you have not read it, you missed much by only seeing the movies) You did well with what knowledge you had to work with. Enjoyed your rundown. Very insightful.
This and "Illest of Our Time" are so underappreciated for their lyricism. It's so easy to get lost in the sonics, visuals &/or straightforward lyrics that one misses the deeper poetry. I only caught the meaning (well, to me at least) behind the Mary/lamb/slaughter verse when I saw the video. Watching the leashed lamb be led by the German Shepherd to its death is right out of Orewll's philosophy for the populace to be wary of their politicians. Despite the fact that they should be caretakers (shepherds), they might not have your best interest at heart. The Cannibal King flat out tells us he's a murderous tyrant, but we continue to follow. Very much like U.S.(& other places) politics over the last decade. It's really difficult for beings who watched their rebel leader overthrow the former regime face the fact that their leader is (now) just as corrupt. Hope blinds us. (See "Animal Farm") And w/Illest... talking about HK noodles as a metaphor for his brain damage... *chef's kiss" That whole last part of the song is beautiful. Instead of saying "I'm in an impossible position," he invites you to a corner of a cornea/pupil - which is, obviously, impossible as spheres don't have corners. ❤ it. Love both of these songs. So deep, and easy to miss. Great reaction! I hope you continue to get better quickly. 💛✌️
Not sure why but watching the acoustic version made me think of Ren as a demented children's show character reading us (kids) some kind of Grimm's fairytale story 😅thanks GOAT!
This song draws massive influence from Kanye's "Black Skinheads." Ren posted an instrumental tutorial for this. "OK, So you start on B, then you have to switch to B. Then the next chord is B, followed by a B."
Several good spots here! The song and the video are essentially independent of each other. The video is packed with Easter eggs from Animal Farm, Alice in Wonderland and Kubrick films (e.g. Eyes Wide Shut and Clockwork Orange), all of which include people behaving like animals. . Did you spot a famous painting 'Dogs playing Poker' Or the pig in the kitchen who has Ren's head swinging in a cage to the rhythm of his chopping. Filming (with a cast of friends) ended up going through most of the night before achieving the 'One Take'.
I really like this one and it's sad how many people are turned off to it by the surface level violence and "weirdness". Great job realizing right off that we know who Ren is. His violence is always meaningful... it's the sexual weirdness he throws in some songs that's just shock value 😂
Another great reaction and analysis, absolutely as you say you can take this at any level you want to, I appreciate that you encapsulate taking it at all the different levels at the same time.

The "Lord of the RRRRings" lyric is the Welsh coming out, id say that's intentional when he does that. He doesn't speak with a welsh accent. So id say its just a nod to his Welsh roots.
This is ONE of the reasons there's often a pig! It's from the Orwell book Animal Farm - quoted on the wall here in the flat up top. One of Ren's fave books and this also has a ton of film references - The Shining, Clockwork Orange, Willy Wonka.... it's all about anarchy and tearing the establishment down but then be careful WHO takes over after that. 😊 the guy tied up at tge beginning is the same poor bastard Ren kidnapoed in Murderer!
If you had ever read Animal Farm by George Orwell then this would make a LOT more sense (particularly the 'rules' on the whiteboard at the start of the video. It just points to the deep understanding of all forms of art that Ren references. The flexing he does in this song also references the hubris in the novel.
If you stop to read what’s written at the beginning of the first video, things make more sense. This song is somewhat based on the book Animal Farm. Ren is really into older books and dystopian themes. There is a flow of this through a lot of his songs.
I think those guys are genuine and I know that Cliff has helped others with issues with TH-cam. Who knows but you might be surprised. Besides their both Renegades too!

I’ve struggled to find a “deeper meaning” to this song. The best I could come up with is that ITS A JUNGLE OUT THERE (music industry) and those in the biz (being cannibals) so this is like him saying he’s well equipped to defend himself and has no fear walking tall in the jungle.
George Orwell's Animal Farm, Charlie & the Chocolate factory the cane & Umpa Loompa's, Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, Clockwork Orange, just a mash up of Ren's creative genius.
For reactors reach out to cliff beats - he is an amazing reactor and always willing to help. If you havent read animal farm the audio is on youtube. this song has a lot of references to that book.
I remember walking around everywhere doing the “do da do da do da” when this song first came out 🤣 Another GOAT reaction my guy, hope you feeling better 🙌🏼🖤❤️
I prefer the live version - it's even darker...🖤 And how cool is it to record live in a usual driving town bus 😎👌🏼Besides, we get a beautiful glimpse how Ren writes songs - him an his guitar is the essence and all we need
I hadn't seen or heard the acoustic version before so really enjoyed that. Guess I've got to go back and see if there's acoustic versions of others. They do hit different dont they?
Your reactions are really interesting and that makes them different from all the other reactions - some channels do bars breakdown, you break down the mental part (can't call it mental breakdown though😂)
Great as always🎉❤. And after you take into account the Animal Farm references, when you see it few more times, you'll see a lot more the video has to offer.
Might want to check Cliff Beats, and try to contact Knox Hill if you have issues with the algorithm. 😊
@@VinkDaniel no way those guys will respond to me haha
Try it, they might surprise you...
I think those guys are genuine and I know that Cliff has helped others with issues with TH-cam. Who knows but you might be surprised. Besides their both Renegades too!
@@justme1111 you kno what you’re right, I don’t know them well at all so I shouldn’t have assumed that. I just meant it in a way as far status They are huge channels n I’m sure many ppl reach out to them daily. But I’ll reach out to them, last time I reached out to a big channel asking about help with my TH-cam uploading process, they wanted to charge me for information. That right there just made me feel very thrown off like really? Made me just stick to myself. But I’ll reach out them tho. Thanks
@@GoatWorthy_ How disappointing! I would love to know who responded that way. Hopefully I'm not following them. My favourite reactors (you're one) are stuck kind of plateau-ed within the 10k to 30k subscribers, but deserve much more!
You are so insightful. Live your breakdowns. Keep it up!
I appreciate that!
Just by listening to your intro i heard the realness in you. Without seeing any reacting yet, you've got a new subscribers in me ☺️
Love from Norway ❤️
Thanks for subbing! wow norwayyyy!
I remember walking around everywhere doing the “do da do da do da” when this song first came out 🤣
Another GOAT reaction my guy, hope you feeling better 🙌🏼🖤❤️
Love this song thanks for a great reaction
I prefer the live version - it's even darker...🖤 And how cool is it to record live in a usual driving town bus 😎👌🏼Besides, we get a beautiful glimpse how Ren writes songs - him an his guitar is the essence and all we need
I love Animal Flow so much I made it my ringtone!
I hadn't seen or heard the acoustic version before so really enjoyed that. Guess I've got to go back and see if there's acoustic versions of others. They do hit different dont they?
Acoustic version is way more intense for me. Awesome breakdown of tracks ❤
I totally agree! Thanks!
Like the rules written on the wall, dogs playing poker etc. Plus the Clockwork Orange references here and there😂❤
Nice to see what the future brings to your Ren reactions. ❤🙏🙏🙏🙏❣️
Thanks for the tips!
high quality analysis here. thanks! subscribed. He also released this the week King Charles coronation which was just perfect.
Thanks for the sub!
Do you recognize that staircase from Violet's tale? Same apartment building. They did this incredible one take for about 100 pounds!
#Renagades
You think this is different, wait until you get to Loco! And that one is a lyric video.❤
I'll check it out!
One of my favorites by Ren!!!
Try to reach out to Black Pegasus about the Y-T problem. He seems to know a lot about it.
Don’t know who that is but I’ll look him up and find out about it.
Thank you btw!
@@GoatWorthy_ He's one of the "Avengers" :-D That's KnoxHill, ThatSinger, Anthony Ray, CliffBeats, and Black Pegasus, reactors who occasionally make a podcast together. Ren gave an interview on his channel.
Great reaction ❤❤
THE unicorn!!
Think ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ as the setting.
LFG!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are the GOAT!
ohh stawppp ittt lol keep going
I think it is the jump in subs in a small amount of time. It happens to a lot of channels I've noticed.
🩷 #ren
Love it 🖤
Hey brother.
Renegade in the house.
Just completely off topic of Ren. Go check out lose yourself. The cover by Casey Chambers.
Let me know what you think. Actually, react to it.
God bless you and your recovery
Yes❤❤❤❤❤ this❤❤❤❤ will blue your mind❤❤❤❤

Reach out to Cliff Beats. He's had a bunch of issues with YT.
Going back to the Brothers Grimm style of story telling
RENEGADES UNITED LIKE COMMENT SUB THESE CREATORS FOR SUPPORT!🎉🎉🎉🎉 THE REVOLUTION STARTS FOLLOW THE REN WHITE RABBIT!
You have to focus man! You get it
nice
I would have loved to see you have done the acoustic first

Cliff Beats says the restrictions are happening to all reactors with no explanation as to why. TH-cam still makes money off the ads . So wrong.
❤❤❤
One take!
So YT, Apple music, Spotify, and Meta are all fighting for share and Amazon is trying to woo artists too. They streamed Kendrick's Pop Out concert. I think YT can't figure out what to do about reaction channels.
😮 that’s all I got! I love it tho!!
I love your analysis and break down, you remind me a lot of Knox Hill in that way
🐷🦁🐵🐑💜
They are trying to shut #KINGREN up
Have you ever heard of Harry Mack? Please react to him!
