Ren IS THE ILLEST OF OUR TIME. I've never heard anything like him before. And I'm a huge music lover. Music is my life. And I'm so proud of being a Renegade. 👍 🇳🇴
I think it was the day this came out that Ren was on stream and he looked to see if there were any reactions yet. There were a few right away after the premiere and he was so grateful and overwhelmed by the love from reactors. It was so sweet to see him finally getting some recognition.
I love that twitch stream. He saw all the reactors already posting. He was talking about how it’s all so new and tearing up. And how he worked for this since he was 12 🥹. That’s when he reacted to Knox’s reaction too! And then Knox reacted to his reaction of Knox reacting and they soon became friends!
I love his wordplay on this one. My favorite bit is probably the way he rhymes "King Kong" and "Swanton bomb" with "Hong Kong" and "Wonton soup" two lines later!
When he was doing his twitch stream, on the day it released, he was listening to Knox Hill’s reaction and he REALLy wanted him to get the stranger thing reference. That was one of Ren’s favorite parts he said. And he was excited Knox got the whole thing. Including “turn it up to Eleven.”

I hadn’t thought of this and thought it was a bit of a reach until I thought about it a bit and remembered that Chopin was also considered a genius who was ill for most of his life.
@@Mezzystar1 There still needs to be something pointing towards Chopin in the lyrics to make that connection. Otherwise anybody saying 'I'm chopping' is actually saying 'I'm Chopin' 😅 That doesn't make any sense. For anyone who doesn't know, 'chopping' means to rap fast. Ren says 'I'm Freddy Krueger, I'm chopping' So he's saying he raps fast and he's killing it like Freddy or he's invading the mind of his opponent like Freddy (as Goat Worthy pointed out).
