You should have accepted the letter so we can see the specifics of Royal Mail policy. Having taken the letter, you could have thanked him for the policy statement and then pointed out policy doesn't trump law... And kept flying, regardless!
As an ex employee of Royal Mail, spent years pounding the streets, i can give a rough insight of how they operate. Generally mail given to us will get delivered that day. If my oppo is off or on the sick they try to call someone else in. Things went tits up during the coof, seriously as i a driver, i didnt deliver one single letter in appox 2 years. Just parcels or packages. They got agency staff in, to take up the slack.

Their larger sites usually are more secure, with traffic barriers, perimeter fencing, and turnstiles for staff. But this site seems to be lacking somewhat.

Wow thanks Hennerz. Yes I didn't want to exactly clone some of the bigger channels. I put out less videos because the editing/gathering for the drone show is intensive. The people themselves control my approach, if we're having a calm chat then that's fine, but it it turns hostile then I would have to adapt to the situation 😆. I deliberately set out not to do the usual norm with the sia badges and other things simply because viewers will have normally viewed that on channels before they get to me. I will start asking them to identify first though in future if I don't have a firm reason to believe they have a remit to ask me to leave. If badges are missing are missing and they won't explain who they are and their position, then there's a risk I leave without being formally asked by the right person.

Just about all mail that has been stolen has been nicked by posties somewhere in the system. This is why the Post Office have their own ‘police’, the Investigation Branch, as there have ALWAYS been thefts of mail by employees from year dot. I worked as a Postal Engineer for 15yrs, starting in 1967. Was made very aware of the IB , whilst carrying out maintenance on sorting machines, quite often we’d find jewellery or money , usually placed there by the IB to see if we were thieves. They had secret rooms behind false walls in many sorting offices from where they’d watch everyone. Was interviewed by them once as someone told them I was supplying telephones for free! I was never involved with the telephone side, and IB told me they knew it was a false accusation. They were just letting me know.

That fragile roof notice is to deter thieves from climbing onto it and as a warning to builders. You would need proper equipment as it will not take a person's weight.

10:50 So they've had a lot of stuff stolen from the place. That means customer's mail has been stolen. And you know who the person who steals stuff inside a mail depot is? Yep, an employee. Just about all mail that has been stolen has been nicked by posties somewhere in the system. So he's effectively trying to cover up their shit internal security by blaming your drone which can't see through the roof into the building. He's not very bright is he?

This is why the Post Office have their own ‘police’, the Investigation Branch, as there have ALWAYS been thefts of mail by employees from year dot. I worked as a Postal Engineer for 15yrs, starting in 1967. Was made very aware of the IB , whilst carrying out maintenance on sorting machines, quite often we’d find jewellery or money , usually placed there by the IB to see if we were thieves. They had secret rooms behind false walls in many sorting offices from where they’d watch everyone. Was interviewed by them once as someone told them I was supplying telephones for free! I was never involved with the telephone side, and IB told me they knew it was a false accusation. They were just letting me know.
@@mavicmeister29 I didn’t mention mail thefts, the problem at this site has been fuel thefts from our fuel tanks. The problem being excaterbated by people flying drones over the premises thus locating where the fuel tanks are located
