Very interesting poem Andy. I've never really met any Walts - a few people who exaggerated but that's it. For me they're truly very sad to want to create this other life having not lived it. As you say there is wisdom. Thanks for sharing. Mark

Hi Mark, Lisa here. I completely agree, I can’t imagine wanting to embellish my life. I know people who haven’t died yet but they’re not really living either. These sad people who fantasise and embellish aren’t really living fully.
@WyeExplorer yes mark, stolen valor, it means by showing or wearing the qualifications of others, like medals or saying you are, or were a "fill in the blanks" you are steeling that status without actually being qualified or simply put in the work. Ginge used to say, everybody wants to be something. Well, the fact is, you've got work towards it whether it be a soldier, doctor or a professor etc.
