The Secret Life of Walter Mitty is a life changing movie and the one scene that has always stood out to me is the longboarding scene in Iceland! I knew one day that I’d have to recreate it and last month I finally had the opportunity :) Let me know what you think of it in the comments below and feel free to like and share with a friend if you enjoyed it!!

This is the scene that made me boom the tickets to Iceland in 2018.
Since then, I've lived for 3 months, and went back 6 times.
The 4th of last January, I had a flight booked with Haraldur Diego, to visit Iceland from the air. Sadly, we were not able to fly that day, but he mentioned a longboard guy, filming scenes from the movie.
This was the video he talked about.
Haraldur was the pilot who died last week, with Josh in his plane.
This is the weirdest I've experienced in my life. Haraldur was describing how he didn't knew at all the background of Josh initially but his son was so proud that he was working with Josh.
Rest in peace to you, Josh, and Haraldur, a formidable pilot, and to the two other souls that boarded this plane.
Do you know what caused the plane to crash? I’ve been wondering… RIP Josh 😢
Where is that place? Exactly where?
@@alexanderdegen8212It’s still unknown. They landed on water (on Þingvallavatn ) and the plane was found intact at the bottom of the sea - apparently the crew managed to escape the plane and even a phone call went from one of the passengers, yet their bodies were all found in the lake.

I have never seen a better recreation of anything in my life. That movie got me into skateboarding, and you did an absolutely phenomenal job on this video.
Saw this film what seems like a decade ago and finally decided to pick up longboarding and Josh was a big motivation for that, you and your team will never know how many lives you changed for the better... mine most definitely included. Rest In Peace Josh!

The awkwardness of walter at times, he daydreams a lot, the places he went to are beautiful and this was definitely one of my fav scenes.

I get a tear in my eye every time I watch one of his videos. He truly was a free spirit who pushed his human potential to the max. I'm sure the heavens took notice of Josh and summoned him to experience the beauties beyond this world. He truly was One of a Kind.

Crazy how much lighting just absolutely changes everything. You can feel how CRISP the cold is there. Stiller's choice of lighting made it dank and wet and dangerous.

This is the road down to Seyðisfjörður (in east Iceland), - a beautiful place. As you can see there is still alot of snow in June! But the rest of the summer was very nice.
