Thankyou. Would love to hear these discourses including the chronically ill the frail elderly, the vulnerable...seems to me they are a missing reality here

I spent my morning turning my neighbors dead trees into firewood and wood chips. I’ll be warmer this winter and my gardening efforts will be greener for years.
    I choose life!

All the best on the next chapter of your great adventure, David. Getting comfortable with being uncomfortable has been one of the most valuable practices I’ve cultivated. It has brought me freedom, peace openness and joy and enhanced the quality of my life immeasurably.
That is what I want for you… to smile and welcome the discomfort knowing it is clearing you out for some new delight.

David, I’ve very much appreciated the interviews you’re brought to us over the years. Valuable explorations and considerations.
Some thoughts about your next steps. I very much appreciate what it’s like to be “in the water between two shore,” as it were; wondering how “next” will unfold and emerge. But perhaps what is next for you isn’t something beyond a complete release of RW, but to take it to RW 2.0 (or 3.0, depending on how you assess what you’ve done so far with your interview format).
For example, not just having interviews of guests about their leading-edge work in the domains of consciousness and mental content, i.e., hearing their “knowledge dumps” of what they cognitively know (about whatever) to us, but getting your guests to live-share, to enact, to demonstrate what they supposedly know (not just talk the talk)…a little more “show us” would be useful. To put it in Wilber’s framework, don’t have them provide just their UL content (cognitions, awarenesses about this, that, and the other), but what that knowledge would look like being enacted/modeled in the UR (individually expressive/behavioral) and LR (interactive with other people) quadrants, especially the latter.
Wishing you wellbeing in your journey.

Dave I think its a great idea wrapping up RW, not because it hasn't been a good thing, but I can only share that the moment I heard you announce the notion, I got a lovely inner buzz of approval; yeah this is the right thing for you, and I was so excited to witness you staying on track with what is yours to live. I have been gifted by you; allowed to witness something of you over the years, able to recognise your personal growth, deeply moved at times when you shifted in ways that felt softer and more open [to my perception and senses]. I hold love for you even though I don't know you at all. Perhaps this is only fair and lawful: a gift for a gift; we touch each other in mysterious ways and most of the time we are hardly aware of it.

its way over my head and it does spark something inside. Am a sports fan and Layman brought up near the end of the video the world is in an apocalyptic mood and being a sports fan like I said I still see billionaire owners sign athletes to long term hundreds of millions of dollar contracts. Its like they are unaware of this apocalyptic mood Layman talked about .

I'd understand if some people can't relate with what is being said here, it feels a bit like Layman undersold himself a bit here by dropping too many names instead of pointing to actual examples of how this would look concretely and in detail. If you aren't familiar with these it all just sounds weird and non-relatable. One time he said something I felt was truly insightful. He said in its past attempts integral had made the mistake of not building from the lower levels up in its attempts to build communities. Building from the lower levels up means to get people together around actual everyday concerns like building a home, making sure your community is fed, working with actual interpersonal conflicts, making sure people have their basic needs met, building a business together. That made sense to me. I think one of the challenges today is that many people want to experience the tribal but without all the weird stuff. There are many tribal examples around but to enter you have to buy all kinds of weird mythology or submit to a cult of personality. And if you don't you kinda are never accepted into the tribe. If we can figure that out, how to be tribal without ending up clinging to weird metaphysics and creepy cult-leaders, we'd make a significant step forward.

I have often pondered the expressions "we as a species" and "that which makes us human", which have insidiously found their way into the discourse; one day, in that ponderation, the term "humant" surfaced, i.e., a designation for what resounds in the 'human platform' but is not necessarily human (still working on it, though...), etc

This century look for the rise of a rational, science-based spiritual unity:
    We are One (race)
We are each One (individual human)
    All is One (energetic system)
    All is Love (eternally)
(So no hell in the worst)
All we each need do is live with noble intentions, judge not, mind our own selves, and seek the authentic joy that comes from helping others.

Why can’t you keep all the logos and important functionality concepts and ideas that have value and re-integrate that with in a rebrand which might be called INTEGRAL WISDOM - or something else? The word wisdom makes a lot of sense while we have never needed wisdom more simultaneously not even knowing what that is. Moving on from the rebel bit makes sense.

Gday from NZ. Your questions on theoretical religionism, or, consciousness, is really an intellectual approach, instead of a spiritual conscious approach. Consciousness is a quantum physical state of being. Human nature is a duality. One being psychological, emotional, or how we think, with all the problems of a physical reality affecting judgment, ie, fear, pride, want etc. The other is philosophical which is what we decide to think! This is what Bahai philosophy calls, the prison of self! Only a spiritual or philosophical approach to these questions can find the answers we seek! An answer only comes from the questions we find. Then when an answer is found, it is good to remember it may not be correct, so one must seek further questions that become obvious when an answer is thought of as doubtful. I learned, that to doubt that which i am most sure of, lead to increased knowledge of any subject. The parakinetic field of consciousness is the connection between all humans and the conscious universe! Love to all!

the contemplation of natural complexity, or, for that matter, of any variety of complexity should perhaps be founded on non-proliferative approaches beyond rational and/or irrational boundaries; these approaches do often include an ordeal, liminal dimension - having said this, I see problems with their application beyond the individual (or beyond individual transmission); and perhaps the apex of a community is arrived at when it learns to utterly respect liminality

The ritual, sigils, dieties, luck, curse.. are mostly symbolic tools we place our power in to access the subconscious potential through because it’s easier to believe in something outside of ourselves as the onus than to actually own it and in some ways a check on our own possible xenophobia
It’s all you .. all of it… once you get that then you realize there’s a collective intention and outcome and the majority either cannot realize their own power or refuse it .. yet they still effect the whole collective .. if ppl have expression and connection it’s easier to untangle it leaving less anger from feeling neglected or inadequate.. what works is when ppl want it to when they feel part of it.. we’ve lost that… it’s all true or none if it is.. you don’t have to and shouldn’t believe everyone but .. listen to them .. the more perspectives you can put yourself in the closer you are to the unknowing.. to actually rest in that .. that’s gratitude and humility of all the things

David: Quite new to RW. You should def not close down RW! Love the podcast and videos and you’re definitely one of my trusted thinkers and content creators. However…some feedback: I wish some of the nomenclature would be explained. With respect, much of what you discuss verges on, as one poster below comments, “esoteric ramble” and the terminology is over my head … I wonder how accessible these videos are for many new(ish) to sense making? Just my opinion. Appreciate the precision of language required and I’m not suggesting you dumb down and that your target audience is probably fairly attuned, but we have to start somewhere!

Yes, galaxy brains are naïve about their solutions. But reincorporating rituals, religion, and magic is not the solution either. Human progress comes from questioning the false or limited status quo, not from resuscitating old false or limited solutions. People will try every imaginable strategy to avoid doing a 180 and investigating how they create unhappiness for themselves and others. We need to question our assumptions and worldviews, even rarefied cutting edge ones.
People get emotional or rational results and think that they now are on a great romantic path that will reach the answer. It’s like the Wizard of Oz [spoiler alert] - you find some magic and think it’s proof of progress only to realise that there’s nothing at the end of the road. Besides, if we are spirit or if magic exists, then those things are already here so we don’t need to go searching for them. We would only need to remove obstacles to those experiences.
Pascal says “Reasonable options haven’t worked”, but that’s because those options were Tier One. Magical/religious solutions never worked either because they are Tier One as well. Pascal is operating on the Integral Theory assumption that if we just add everything together it will add up to something true. But there will be no peace until the underlying illusions of Tier One are questioned. The disease must be found rather than constantly addressing new symptoms, which inadvertently creates further symptoms while reproducing the disease.
Regarding David’s current personal process, my feedback would be that he is in a great situation at the moment. Almost everybody in that situation finds a life raft and clings to it. Instead, use the vulnerability to do a 180 and question your fundamental assumptions, motivations, and contexts. Pascal said to listen to elders. I’d say that’s the second best option, assuming those elders have a clue. The best option is to fall deeper into the crisis by questioning your beliefs ruthlessly, especially your most treasured beliefs. Unfortunately, David already said that he has plenty of things from his old worldview that he wants to keep and expand upon, e.g. men’s groups.
Anyway, I did a reaction video titled Liminality and Crisis. It's on my channel.

The ability to think rationally is a tool. It's a powerful tool. So powerful, in fact, that even when used incorrectly and haphazardly it is still more powerful than almost any other tool. So powerful it seems to be causing a sixth mass extinction. Might be better to recognise what this tool can and cannot do and learn to use it wisely. But to advocating the impossible approach of abandoning it altogether is taking One Giant Leap backwards while trying to put the Level 10 000 Genie back in the bottle. No Thanks.

As usual, when we humans tend to discuss and cogitate upon our existence and, indeed, our condition, a paradox immerges.
So far, whilst listening to Layman's ideas, it seems like he wants to make the subconscious somehow conscious! Or, in a sense, to "help" us become (more) aware of the subconscious.
If you ponder that for a little bit, you may come to the realisation of how grossly absurd his proposition is!

It's my informed guess that he's referring more to making more of the CONTENT of the SC conscious, not the SC itself.
