First guess: A relevant piece of information or speculation was mentioned in the stream, but didn't make the cut for this video; probably something like how Purator would've drawn The Leviathan, or some other *Rush* minion to get through the taunts. His only hope was to get Olgra which could've traded with Anachronos or the Lightrays.
I had the same question, but I think the idea is that even if he survives the next turn, he will be too low use Remornia. Maybe if he waited one more turn he could hope to draw Olgra and get some lucky hits, but it was a tough spot to recover from even in the best case scenario.
Definitely Leviathan, every Pure paladin plays it, and very few play any other Mech besides The Purator, and on the off chance another mech was drawn, he was still likely dead to another card in the Paladin's hand. He didn't have a realistic way to come back from that spot.
It can be challenging for sure - it's important that you play for tempo early to stay ahead of them since it's hard for you to come back if they get a buffed board.
I'm a bit torn on that DK Reward skin. On the one hand it does look quite neat and I'd like to use something besides the Lich King eventually. BUT on the other hand, everyone I've played against using it so far has acted like an obnoxious twat.
i litterally stopped playing because the only class i was facing was deathknight.... it got so boring to me. they are so absurdly strong with all those discovery's and high powerlevel cards. it just got boring to me

My guess for the 2-1 game is he had a quest to play cheap minions but for some reason played his quest in brawl instead of casual.

He has to hit one of the flappy birbs with his face, so that's an extra 5 damage, don't forget they have taunt.

I got legend this month with Big Druid, pretty much farms DK
Dk is annoying because of their 60000 discover cards and the high playrate but it's very manageable
