  • Versailles Apartment Tour | What you get for $3300 Month We just moved from the US to France on November 7th and we are spending the next year traveling to different parts of France to decide where we want to ultimately live full-time. Paris is #1 on our list. We spent our first month in Paris and we just moved to Versailles until February so that we would have enough space for our son to visit from grad school for his winter break. This video features our new 2 bedroom apartment located 2 blocks from the beautiful Cathedral Saint-Louis of Versailles and the Versailles Palace. We hope you enjoy!
Follow our journey moving from the USA to France as we take the next year to decide where in France we're going to live. We will be sharing it all with you, the places we'll stay, the experiences we'll have and the beautiful sights and scenes of France.

In the USa, I think we're all electric when it comes to stoves. There are many reasons for changing to electric besides cost saving , one main reason is raising the nations Genies within a quarter or a year by switching everyone to electricity...if the power is available...which then improves the standard of living.

The towel racks also heat small spaces and you can turn them on to warm up the room without turning on all the radiators. And then the extra benefit is you can hang your laundry on them to dry at the same time and save money from the dryer or just for things you don’t like to put in the dryer!

Adorable apartment with a dishwasher, separate clothes dryer and towel warming rack in the kitchen - that's a first. I've only been to the palace at Versailles on the typical tourist day trip so it was interesting to see other parts of town. Hope you both feel better soon!!

The towel warming rack is really a Euopean style radiator. It's more than a towel warmer. The popular brand is called Runtal. They are available for purchase in the States too although not popular.

I lived in france 5 years and 1 year of that we lived in Buc right outside of Versailles and I used to go into versailles to eat at the local cafe's. Great pizza place there. We lived in a really cool old home with a beautiful garden. My favorite place we lived was Marolles en Hurepoix. A small village that was so cool.

Thank you both for showing us your new apartment its lovely and modern. Hope the soup was comforting and builds up your strength to fight off any infections. It has been a massive undertaking for you both to up and move to a new country and a bit of homesickness would add to this big change and colder weather. Once your son arrives he will be a link to get back to exploring and re newing energies. I have visited Versailles and its out of this world. No wonder there was a Revolution.

Thank you for to show us or invite us for a visit in your home in this way. It seems to be a normal size of flat to be in Europe. It is easy to clean and after all it has everything one need for to get functioned. Easy clean means also to keep it clean and that is the ground of the health along with just relax. Yes it is a bit of a stairs but you will be surprise how soon with in a year you will do it with out a GREAT TROUBLE and it is good than.
I find or for me it would or could be a bit expensive but you live in a HIGHLY TOURISTIC CITY where people pay that amount for a trip for to get there and see the world largest and most fancy palace.
Most importantly that you relax and enjoy all you can. IT IS NEVER EASY TO MOVE TO ANOTHER CONTINENT . I did that twice in my live so I know.

This apartment is so much nicer and you don’t need a stairmaster( for me a major drawback). I found the ride on the metro quite nice and not to o long. My family used to live in Massey Paliseau❤very near you. As I told you previously I have a friend in Versailles and for a family he found it much better. I think you will come to love living there and you will be in good shape. I lived in such a walk up in NYC back in the late 70’s but now could not do it. I liked how you brightened the decor. Lovely apartment, and the tree is perfect. I have fond memories of being in Europe and have always wanted to live in Italy; however, France is very appealing.

The entire apartment is wonderful. Yes, to avoid smelly wet dish towels, hang them on wall mounted towel warmer at night. How have you found your French coming along? I you trying it out more or not so much yet? Rest well and hope you feel better soon!
