Celestron Focal Reducer F6.3 Review

The reducer helps a lot! It's a must for deep sky astrophotography

I got that telescope and focal reducer and it's really good for nebulae and clusters, also I might attempt some sort of imaging even though I only have an Alt-az mount

Yes wise fields always nice on certain eep sky objects esp clusters. Still not wide enough for Pleiades tho... binoculars every time on that.

@@modulouniverse7029 Yeah, last time I saw pleiades it was right next to the waning crescent moon in the same view, I really liked it

You can get the same results with a 20 or 25 mm lens and attached your camera phone and your ready to go. I have a 25 mm wide angle lens and phone attachment for using the phones camera and I'm guessing you'd get the same results as using a focal reducer. Great video posted either way.

Does it make planet viewing, like Saturn or Jupiter, clearer? I have the same telescope you have and have only recently started my journey this past August...

I'm really tempted by this scope. All about getting use out it for the odd nebula... Have you imaged them and had the AltAZ been an issue?
