21:39 David smiles looking at Rick who made a mistake repeating twice" inviting and inviting" instead of "inciting and inviting me to rise...." Rick is looking at him too!!!! Nice......
Echoes was the last song played on most Saturday nights in the 70s and back when we did trip, it usually played no matter the party. Amazing band and track, they will be watching/listening to this track a Millennium from now. For another great track there, do Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, more amazing music from the best, enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
That was also live and edit in the Amphitheater of the Ancient city of Pompeii, obviously without crowd because in Italy the monuments are protected and the sound not very good to them and they had to get a special permit to do this, they then performed in a concert apart from Naples (where Pompeii is located in its province), but there is only one Rare Audio Recording in Bootleg!
Check out the last time "echoes" was perform because Dave said he will not perform it again cause Rick Wright passing.. Dave Gilmour " Live at Gdansk" " Echoes" .Dave said it his favorite to play cause 3 times you can see Dave and Rick talking to each other with their instruments. Ending sad as if they were saying goodbye to each other. Song: part 1 is about humanity having no empathy then part 2 is a rebirth were humanity has empathy with each other: Quote by Roger. Dave is the only person to play twice in the Amphitheater since 79 AD. 1974 & 2016

Nick casually flipping the right drum stick at 8:52 and not missing a beat. Exemplary musicianship from the start of this band.
First heard this in '72', a friend handed me the Album and said, " you got to hear this." Fan ever since.

This is a masterpiece and the conversation between David and Rick at the end is so beautiful.
Enjoyable reaction. Thanks. Epic track obviously
The Dale theatre in the North Bronx, midnight show, 1973 with grateful dead movie, Beatles Help Movie. Fun times!
Everybody loves themselves some Echoes.

méme en live pink floyd on un son pure et parfait ce sont des pro , felicitations👍👍
The markings on the speakers and amps are for shipping purposes. The regulations back in 1974 were different than they are now.
Saw Pink Floyd play at Yankee Stadium June 1994.
What you missed is Nick Mason, the drummer actually loses a drumstick half way through and grabs another one without missing a beat .🤣🤣🤣
j'ai réecouter l'album de stanley clarke rocks pebbles and sand , que de bon souvenirs👍😊
