They should have made it so you can change the colours of groups of icons rather than changing ALL icons to one colour

The best UI change IMO is the ability to get rid of the app name labels by using the larger icon feature. I rather have the option not to use labels regardless of icon size. Beyond the UI tweaks, I think iPhone Mirroring, Satellite Messaging are locking apps are nice additions.

Schedule messages was never as easy as android but with shortcuts automations you been able to do so on Apple. I missed that coming from android until I figured that out.

As I’m excited about iOS 18 as well. A.I Integration, control center customization, Scheduled text, tap back, Home Screen customization without using shortcuts! I agree, some of the 3rd party apps I use to achieve certain functionality; I may be able to delete. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

They have where you can get it right now with the beta version. You would have to sign up with the beta program. I think I’m going to wait, just in case my battery start tweaking lol

I guess I’m in the minority of people who aren’t impressed or care about customizable options. I remember when Apple would just refresh their icons and keep it moving & I appreciated that, simple cohesive design. I’m not sure what I am expecting from Apple but it seems like they’ve reached the ceiling on these devices. Even with the repeating iPhone design for the past five years etc.

I wish they’d let us put photos in folders and not have to keep them all on the camera roll too. Putting them in a folder that doesn’t move them off the camera roll is so not convenient.
Oooo thissss! Or when you save it you can go ahead and choose for it to go to a certain album, like saving a file on your computer. You choose the destination kinda thing. Smart!
Been specifically waiting on your video for this! Love everything, but I am not a fan of stuff like chatgpt or whatever, so eh. But I AM WAITING on those scheduled texts. Those will save me a lot... for when I want to sleep in, but I know I have to say something to someone, lol.

Cool video thanks!! I don’t know about anyone else, but my AirPods Pro 2. They don’t sound as loud as they did an iOS 17. I even forgot the device and repaired them still sounds the same, but I haven’t tried the beta yet for AirPods Pro. Anyone else having the same issue? The music just doesn’t sound as loud. I have to turn the volume up more to hear it better the music it’s much less louder than iOS 17 🤷♂
such a great way to implement AI into our daily lives. I know its such a taboo word for your every day person (and creator especially) and a buzzword for biz people but Apple Intelligence truly feels like a way to actually enhance our lives in a meaningful way. Shoutout to the enhanced Siri aka the Siri I thought I was getting all the way back in 2011
I would of thought you’d get on the developer bata on a device your not using to show us these things you like. I’ve been on developer bata on my iPhone 14 Pro Max since day one of it dropping for iOS 18
Apple need to let iPhone users have the freedom to change the font without having to download a app to change the keyboard font but be able to use the font throughout your entire phone system

It's for legal reasons, I assume. In some (most?) states, it's illegal to record a phone conversation without their consent. I guess it's to prevent stuff like blackmail.

As a former android user (had to make the move to IOS) they really don't care. I felt like I lost so much when I came to apple. I do love face recognition, that has been the best thing on iphones. Oh and airdrop. I do like airdrop, it works good for the app I needed to get an iphone for. As stated in the video, a lot of this stuff is new for iphone users.

@@Joker-yu5kp ... nah bro. If you go to some of the earlier ios18 videos, there are tons of Android users on there being salty. I don't get it, personally. I think both are pretty good and it comes down to preference. But for whatever reason, people were crying and complaining. All for something that doesn't even affect them. It was kind of weird to see.
I'm an iphone person, but I occasionally check out videos of Android and OneUI just to see what new features are coming. But I don't go there to hate on them. And don't get me wrong, I'm sure the majority of Android users couldn't care less about ios18... but there sure were a lot of haters last week. A vocal minority, I guess.
Meaning they’re on every comment section that I’ve been on since IOS 18 was introduced. I never visit Droid/Samsung blogs, videos because I’m an Apple user and have “0” interest. No matter what features they have first.
