I love my Oura ring too! So much more comfortable than smart watches/bands. Plus it tackles a more holistic and wellness approach compared to other smart devices, which is better for activity. The cycle tracking and battery life is super awesome! And another interesting thing is it detects illness before you feel anything. Also, it was very accurate when it comes on tracking my sleep. You can actually protect its beauty without sacrificing biometrics and comfort with an OSleeve.

Oura Ring has been great for changing my behavior - drink less, eat less before bed, no caffeine after 12/2pm. I hope they update to the Oura Ring 3 so they can compete with Whoop & Apple Watch

Yeh I agree. If it had the ability to do live HR and HRV tracking.. or even on demand with GPS tracking.. imagine that!

@@ShervinShares yep! All they'd need then is an O2 sensor in it and it would be!

Very informative, thank you. I really wonder why it hasn't been mass produced....it's a very welcomed innovation....I personally want one but in my region (Nigeria), it's such an uphill task getting it and the overall pricing plus shipping makes it almost the price of the Samsung S21 Ultra phone which is ridiculous. They should reduce the size of the band itself and the price and make it readily available and in no time, they'd be out of stock following sales. Another thing is awareness...they need to work on advertising, lots of ppl don't even know such tech exists and would love to own one. With how much of a tech enthusiast I am, I literally just found out about it 2weeks back.

Thanks for your comment and watching the review. I agree, the technology is there to mass produce.. but I wonder like you say if it's awareness holding them back.

Every time you say HRV, it sounds like HIV and I was so confused until I caught on! 😂😂

I like te idea but do you eventually know a wrist band similar to that ring?

Check out a whoop band. Similar tech in a wrist band but geared towards fitness
