      I've always taught that the "Jedi" in Return of the Jedi is Anakin coming back to the light side of the force. I guess to each his own... 👍😅

    • @Xardion55
      @Xardion55 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@redenpasquin7600 - It could apply to both. The word 'Jedi' is one of those that works both as a singular and plural.

    • @bobizzle1605
      @bobizzle1605 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @reden pasquin It does mean that. The title return of the Jedi had multiple meanings. It referred to Anakin coming back to the light, Luke becoming a fully realized Jedi and therefore marking the return of the Jedi, as well as the Jedi rising from the grave and reconquering the sith.
      George Lucas confirmed this was the case years back IIRC.

      Because The Mandalorian had Dave and Jon at the helm with an overall vision where it keeps building with each episode/season. Kathleen Kennedy and Ruin Johnson were making crap up as they went, were not following the canon of the franchise, not treating the characters with what came before, creating new characters that did not work, worried about SJW politics, etc. etc. etc. I could go on for a page with what issues there were with the three Disney sequels but the main one was there was no blue print unlike the previous six. Period.

    Yes, Luke got his redemption after 37 years and we finally saw a bad ass Luke Skywalker. That's how we always wanted to see Luke. Not the Luke we saw in the new trilogy. Thanks Dave and Jon. Being 24 myself, and seeing all of these grown adults become children over their childhoods coming back to life is really quite special. It makes me have hope and wonder what feelings i might have in the future to something like this coming full circle again. May the force be with us all!

    These reaction videos really help me because I called it to myself back in the Ashoka episode. I thought, "Who else is important enough to pick up Grogu?" So I wasn't surprised. Dang! But these videos bring the real misty eyes and full cheers out of me that I needed the first time. Thanks!

    the pure joy here is incredible. for those having a problem with the guy using his phone, you don’t know what he was doing. he could’ve been texting someone “are you watching this!!??”...look how excited they are, the happiness in that room is something so many fans watching this together experienced

    I can’t stop watching reactions. And YOU are one of the top 2!!! I’m insane SW fan. I cried hardcore with snot. Shaking. It hit the autonomic sensory overload reaction of being a kid watching and always wanting this Luke! First the xwing. Then the robe. The green saber. ROTJ Luke face. And then R2!? I mean. Overload. But it was the best feeling ever. I Waited in line for ep 1 over month in Westwood in ‘99 as teen. Best experience ever. And this ep topped it with shear emotions. Like sharing the experience again.
    Love your reaction. Shows true deep connection and beyond a fan. Just like all of us that did the same ☺️ loved watching you and I cried again watching you “Clumsey Jedi”☺️ Thank you.

    It doesn't matter how different someone looks or speaks. What gender you are or identify as. So many people were moved, entertained, or satisfied by this scene and cinematic return of such a beloved character. Young, old. Didn't matter.
    It's Luke. Being a Jedi.
    To this woman and everyone else.... That's all that mattered.

    I wish I knew some ladies who got so excited about Star Wars is this great reaction wonderful to see someone forward this video to Kathleen Kennedy‘s email box who says women don’t love Luke Skywalker this lady show just about every amazing emotion a human being can I’ll have Disney got it so wrong with those three bathetic movies. Credit and respect the people who did the Mandalorian thank God Kennedy couldn’t get our grubby little fingers on it we have been robbed of this amazing story to.

    No apologies needed for your husband checking his phone... he obviously has other pretty important things on his mind (housing, job, LIFE, etc.). But thank you for posting your reaction... like countless others, I've seen so many other reaction videos that we have every sequence and dialogue cue memorized so we know exactly what you are seeing on screen! At the end of this difficult year, so glad that this could bring you (and so many of us) back to this untapped deep wellspring of our childhoods that many of us didn't even know we were missing.
    Best of wishes to you in your housing and job search. MTFBWY!

    Yea! I love you guys! Great reaction and Merry Christmas.
    By the way, as far as Luke, his stand in was played by Max Lloyd-Jones who has similar facial structure to Mark Hamill. Then they digitally mapped Mark's younger face from archived footage over Jones. Same process they used in Rogue One for Carrie Fisher.

    If there's anything that I loved just as much as I did watching this episode for the first time, it's watching and feeling the joy in these reaction videos...and yes, I was in tears as well. As much as I enjoyed the season finale, I felt like this scene alone was the greatest love letter to us fans, especially to those of us who experienced the original 3 Star Wars movies in the theaters for the first time...a long long time ago. 😉
