We briefly lived in DB. The best thing about it was the beach. However, it did have potential of some things were addressed.

There are lots of safe places in Daytona. As with any city you need to be aware of your surroundings. The “safest” suburbs near Daytona are Ormond Beach, Port Orange, and Ponce Inlet.

Orlando is not 45 min from Daytona. It is good 1hour 20 min😊

You are exactly right. I traveled to Orlando last week and it took me 1 hr and 39 minutes-crashes and construction do not help.

What he’s not telling you is the true reason people don’t move to Daytona. There is a crime problem, a drug problem and it gets worse and worse.

Florida has a drug problem… not Daytona 😂

I live 10 miles from Daytona. You do not want to live there. It is riddled with crime and over run by tourists.

@@strikeforce2943 Ponce Inlet small but no crime, Ormond Beach, New Smyrna Beach lots of night life but lots of tourists, If you are thinking of moving here, do not buy into a HOA.

So Ormond Beach area or Tampa? I can't do Orlando ..

@@strikeforce2943 Never Orlando. Tampa is very crowded and the west coast gets hit more by hurricanes. Ormond Beach area is better. I've been here 20 years. What are you looking for, looking to do?

That's a great question early early 40s, no family just me, but I work remote...currently in panhandle but need quick access to bigger city but don't want to live in bigger city...
