Every place has their positives and negatives. Up north has to deal with FEET of snow and shovel their roofs. People have heart shoveling snow. Around the USA, there are black widows or brown recuse spiders. Mid West has summer temps of 110-130 plus humidity. Tornadoes, straight line winds, blizzards, and flooding horrible weather prevail everywhere. Copperheads, water mocasins, rattlesnakes, even scorpions, bears, mountain lions, moose, not to mention all the deer hitting your car during rutting season! UGH! Traffic is everywhere now. The highways are flooded with semi trucks, rvs, and autos. Add a snow storm to that, and you can die in your car on the highway due to the cold and carbon monoxide. Reality is a person has to pick a place, deal with the bad, and appreciate the good, then be a great friend and make great friends. Thanks for the video.

It sucks I agree. They destroyed LPGA blvd with all the building, the traffic lights are the worst. Last thing, the toll roads suck mostly 2 lane roads with people driving slow.

What he’s not telling you is the true reason people don’t move to Daytona. There is a crime problem, a drug problem and it gets worse and worse.
im born and raised here, it used to be okay. now its not so fun that everything is so expensive and there is just all sorts of people everywhere all the time and everything is shut down now, used to be 24/7 just about everywhere and you could get a condo to rent on beachside for one weeks pay and have $ left over. im hoping to grow my tile bussiness enough to afford to leave here, i stayed for the ocean and i never go outside anymore unless im payed being 112deg

I watched your video and saw just one con mentioned: heavy traffic on Dunlawton. Compared to what? It's the major east-west thoroughfare in Port Orange, connecting to 95, and with lots of businesses and shopping malls on both sides -- but it's wide and traffic moves quite well. We live in Eagle Crest on the smaller lake. Very quiet and people are friendly. We are a mile and half from ISB and I4 entrance. LPGA is building up with businesses and restaurants. Car wash and FHCP are building here as well. Bucees and Tanger Outlets are down the road. There may be a plan to propose expanding LPGA and completely redoing the 95 on/off ramps soon.
We are all hoping for an expansion on LPGA and the on/off ramp. It is a great area as we can see by the amount of people moving to this area of Daytona Beach.
100% confused! If the homeowner is unaware of fudiciary responsibilities because of confusing contract language, I forsee nothing but buyer/seller agent scams to the homeowner. Buyer and seller agents have to work together in financial responsibilities within their designated area, if buyer/seller agents have something "under the table" this becomes a manipulated monetary loss for the home owner. Let's face it, everyone claims they are honest when asked. Thanks for trying to break it down for your viewership.
I think there will be a host of confusion for the first 2-3 months after Aug. 17th, 2024. The biggest hurdle will be how in the world will a buyer's agent get paid? And will the buyer have the ability to pay their agent if the case arises. If there is no agent-to-agent discussion before an offer is written (asking a seller for some type of concession)-never asked/written into the offer, the responsibility falls to the buyer. In some cases, the buyer will simple be unable to pay their agent and in turn be unable to purchase the home. The buyer may be forced to "fire" their agent and go directly to the selling agent to try and buy the home. This will be an impossible task due to the "protection period" for the buyer agent (protecting commission if a buyer tries to purchase a home without the use of buyer agent services) --- I foresee some headaches and nightmares on the horizon....

28 years, in the greater Daytona Beach area, an I had not lived in Ponce Inlet.. I always enjoyed 'Vanishing Island'..
Ponce Inlet has been a great place for locals to refresh and enjoy the different elements in that area.
Call police department, Daytona Bch is one of the most dangerous area in Florida and yes I do know as we lived in Ormond!

Don't move to Florida! Housing cost will be your downfall. Buying or renting is very expensive due to taxes on the high property values and high insurance costs due to the hurricanes over the last few years. Automobile insurance is also skyrocketing due to all the flooded vehicles during storms and all of the uninsured people driving around here. We have a lot more properties for sale in my area of Florida because people are hearing about all these exploding costs and they have stopped coming.
