Why do we US citizens have to go through this traveling down the road? Further they need more lessons in communication in English language, as they kept screaming and threatening us... our family is very happy to make it out of there without injuries..

When he asked a question or tried to detain you, you should have simply said that you were not going to answer any of his questions. When he asked why you should have informed him you are not required to under the 4th and 5th amendments to the United States Constitution and that is the end of discussion. The point of civil disobedience is to show law enforcement that we will not allow them to abuse their authority and violate our rights as United States citizens and that they work for us, not just to hassle and annoy them. You did the latter of the two. This helps no one and in fact probably increases your risk of becoming a victim of their abuse of power. Don't get me wrong here, i just don't think you should have told them anything at all. I can't stand the idea of suspicionless checkpoints, and I can't stand the idea that refusing to answer a question amounts to the 'mere suspicion' they need to escalate an investigation. I think we can agree that these checkpoints are BS. We live in a free state, and the constitution is supposed to protect us from this kind of intrusion. But, the supreme court has upheld the authority of the border patrol to conduct the checkpoints and ask questions. It has not however upheld their authority to compel us to answer. This is the gray area they exploit day in and day out. If you choose to interact with them, and do so in a strange and/or incoherent way, that does provide them with the grounds they need to escalate. If you choose not to answer, you have provided no grounds for any *lawful* further investigation. I have no doubt that they will still claim that they have suspicion, as you can see in the many other checkpoint refusal videos, but their suspicion will be based on 5th amendment privilege. That is where they start breaking the law. Also, for the record, if you have a SSN, you are a citizen. until the gov't takes action to revoke your citizenship, you are a citizen. Telling people you don't know is still a lie from a legal standpoint.

there was a more mature way to do this lol, do some research and plan what you are going to say before trying to prove a point like this.

The "Am I being detained" line is coined by an Agent Provocateur named Terry Bressi.
I'll write my own rule book and lines without the Terrorism Liaison Office's help.
      Thanks anyway.
The Office decided to focus me on this topic while I mapped the roads through Checkpoints by artificially raising my TH-cam Views and insulting me with Automated Sockpuppets.

ah, i think the best way is to right a book, or like a sheet of paper with all the rules. I got pulled over once i had commited a crime I had just started learning to drive and i forgot to turn my lights on. They pulled me over I gave them my information, man was i nervous I dont know why I would be, perhaps the things iv seen or the fact i dont talk to a police officer every day lol. But any way i wanted to take a picture of myself with the lights cause i never wanted to forget that momment, like i would any way XD but as i pressed the button the other cop hit my window very hard and had me roll down my window more and yelled at me for doing so, "Dont be takeing pictures with the lights this isnt some game" He was younge and very mad, the other cop with my ID let me go with a warning after that.
Iv always woundered how wrong was the cop to do that to me? I know was in the wrong for the lights being off but still, i thought it was not needed for him to get so heated

You do a lot of yammering.
Was that cut and pasted around in other people's comment areas?

Maybe not the best way to control illegal immigration.
But instead of waste and disrespect officers time why not offer a better solution?
We are all against illegal immigration and nothing worst than just be against something and not have any other solution to offer.
Just looks like you want to be against something, and that’s the problem, no one wants to take responsibility. Be proactive
Easy to wash hands instead of contributing with society.

james de prince Are you a citizen of the United States? Where were you born? Do you have a problem answering those questions in order for me to allow you continue driving down a highway to another checkpoint where you will be impeded again?
