It was a special place that sees very little traffic, quite a rough decent from Ogallala through loose nasty talus but amazing little lake at the bottom! An awesome practice run would be the ridge line between Lawanee and Grizzly peak if you want something with easy access from Loveland pass, SCARY looking ridge but really fairly easy, one unexposed class 4 move. . . .I'm here if you need any beta. . .
@@sorentrexler3688 That Grizzly traverse video is on my channel you're interested, I did it the long way from Chihuahua Gulch and it was super cool, bonus ridge up Lawanee and waterfall chute decent was a cool find. Was dry when I was there but. . . that was fall. . . LOL could be super awesome or epic fail depending on how much water is flowing. . .
Great summits-- I like to go up Elk Tooth from Allenspark via Pear lake myself. too many issues with heights for that class 4 traverse though. that fisheye lens is disorienting..not really a fan
