Sharp Tractor. I would think the limiting HP Factor is the Clutches. You can make more HP than they will hold stock. I was surprised in your other pulling video that they were shifting, that has to be pretty souped up to hold it. Thanks for the Videos, Bill.
Nice looking job. Pretty tractor. If I was going to pull one of mine I'd get you to tweak it for me even though they are red. Lol. Bill I really enjoy your videos and so you know I like both Red and Green tractors. Especially partial to the 4430's as that was the first big tractor I ever drove.
What a beast you and the boys built . 450 plus I'm guessing. Can't belame you and the customer to keep it under raps. And yes a different clutch is a must .
Bill, on the clutch in that tractor. Could you explain what changes you can do to make the clutch handle the horsepower that is possible from the improvements you made? You did say you turned up the pressure. But what else can a fellow do to handle more power? Thanks Steve
Hey Steve! you can machine your flywheel to fit another disk. Sometimes we do some work to make the PTO clutch part of the main trans. clutch, neither is simple.
Bill, do you have any idea why Kevin Windsor never used the Ford 7.8l - 474ci truck block in his SS Ford? To my knowledge, he stayed with the 401 block throughout the 90s.
What brand dyno, the one we had at the equipment dealership had a crank handle on it, we used it to pretty much break engines in, sometimes to diagnose an issue, have seen a lot of coal roll
Hey, I just bought a 4240S with a 4240 engine (6466D) so I have the rotary fuel pump and a turboed 4240 engine. Is the original 6466T really different cuz of the factory turbo ? Pullrods, pistons ?

Right on.
1st! I would love a Grimes Engineering sticker or magnet for my fridge!😂 Great video, Bill. And y'all tuned that one up nicely!
Beautiful work and an awesome build!
Hey David! Thanks for the kind words, great to hear from you.
Be nice to see the 4240 pull against that 4020 from down your way both nice looking tractors. You and yours boys do good work.
Same guy owns 'em both!
@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 that thought had crossed my mind well he's got two strong tractors now.
Awesome job You and Your Boy’s did, and it looks amazing too, God Bless
Hey Bill,,nicely done!! She's a runner. Just for the record, we NEVER let out the actual horsepower or torque on the pulling truck either.
The tractor really looks good Sounds good too Great video god bless
Super nice job!
Turned out great 👍🏼🇺🇸
Looks great. I redecaled mine with 4440 stickers after I did that similar setup
😁👍
Amazing job well done bro 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Sweet, sweet music.
Nice, you're going to haveta put up a video of her first pull. The sticker is striking
That's the plan!

I don't know, price, availability, already set up for 401 and didn't have time to figure the changes that would be needed?

It is an AW Dyno, refurbished by Dynotech.
@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 don't remember what theirs was, we had one at Byrd tractor but never used it, both places are out of business now,

Yes, differen't, con rods, pistons, is the short list.
That 4020 should be something else ploughing out your potatoes...
Excellent job. God bless you always in Jesus name Amen 🙏
Oh yea i know what they are able to do i had a 4960 and a dyno back in my younger days
👍👍
Bill, I figured 160 to 170. Apparently it's alot more than that.... I believe factory hp around 110 at the pto.
Maybe around 300-375
goal was over 400 i believe, so id say 450 wouldnt be out of the question
You and the boys do nice work. Really clean looking
You're getting closer.
Really!
Maybe you can show some Oliver's worked on lol
If l ever get to work on one of the other shade of green, l sure will.
I will see how to get ahold of you
How high does your dyno go
600 HP safely.
@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 nice it looks high teck
That's sharp
