I'm from SE Ohio and know the Gallipolis and Middleport/Pomeroy area well, that War Eagle would've been before all the schools were consolidated I would imagine,my dad used to tell me about the '35 Pontiac straight eight that my great grandpa owned saying it would pass everything but a gas station,my cousin also owns a '35 Pontiac two door sedan that has the flathead six in it.
Thanks for taking time to watch. Mine only came with 77hp the 35 Pontiac came 84hp. It's hard to imagine that the 33 straight 8 was one of the most powerful cars of 1933. I can't wait to drive it. STAY TUNED for next video I'm going to try to drive it.
I think it's a truely special car with a cool history. I'm hoping to add to it's history. Stay tuned I hope that will happen next video. THANKS for taking time to watch!
It was in neutral I think it's caused by the viscosity of the gear oil in the trans causing a small amount of drag. After I rewatched video I started for about ten seconds with wheels on the ground it was fine. Thanks for watching. Stay tuned to see if I can get it to drive.
If it could talk it would tell some wild stories of hauling moonshine in the hills of southern Ohio. Stay tuned for this and other cool cars I'm bringing the channel. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
Sorry about that I'm new to this still learning. Editing is hard for an old guy like me lol. I promise the quality will improve a guy has to start somewhere. Thanks for taking the time to watch!
I want to thank everyone who took the time to watch the progress on this very special car.
LOL! You're excitement was great! Loved hearing it run!
I was surprised that it ran after the compression test. Thanks for watching! Stay tuned for next video will see if it moves!

90 years later, and that Pontiac is better looking than a most cars made today.

Put some marvel oil in the cylinders ,and turn it over a few times, and it will be ready to run !!!
