  • We have pickled eggs with beets,
    and have been looking for different recipes.
    This is our take on some new varieties.
    Hopefully they turn out good for the 4th of July

    Kudos for being able to wait 12 to 14 days. I'm in that "12-14 hours" bracket

      Might try some pickled sausage like in the bars. (Pickled hot dogs) lol

      @@pineyprepper2617 did the hot sauce one come out red in the middle after 14 days? I’m thinking they would make great deviled eggs?

      @@larslan1975 that's a great idea. My wife mentioned that yesterday. Definitely gotta try it. I forget. I think the last batch I did. Before puting them in the jar, I took a toothpick and poked the eggs length wise. That way the juice seeped in better. Try a few each way. Let me know how they come out

    These mustard eggs have no flavor! I did your recipe exactly. They're yellow, but no flavor. Is the recipe on the screen right?
    *Nevermind I didn't put Garlic/onions at the bottom!
