- Hi MVP Squad! In today's video I share the real and raw details of my hysterectomy and the recovery process. This was one of the most painful procedures I've had done. I'm grateful to my family and the nursing staff that took care of me.

I just had my hysterectomy and it's very painful i had a total hysterectomy on 7-6-2023 i was dismissed and it's been 6 days now and i'm in so much pain. i was treated bad at the hospital cause they didn't want to give me anything for pain the nurses was horrible to me.but thank god i woke up and i'm home with my daughters that's been helping me so much. but my glue is trying to open up on the right side i went back in to see my dr cause a order started in between the cut and it was bad. but he said to pat dry after i shower and try to keep it dry but it's hard cause i'm a heavy set woman with a fula and i'm trying my best to do that but to lift my stomach to do that it's very painful. but if i get worse i will go back to do ER. I'm tired of pain and the pain come and go and i been crying like crazy.

I had a vaginal hysterectomy, was discharged the same day,no pain, no bleeding & no cuts. The best way to do it!

Thank you for this video i have to have a total hysterectomy on july 6 and i'm so scared. my fibroid is in my uterus and it's 15 cm and i'm on a birth control to stop the heavy bleeding but it's not working and i'm in so much pain's n already and week because of my iron. I'm ready but not ready because he's going in where i had my c section and i have scar tissue there and blood pressure want go down and i suffer from ptsd so i have non epileptic seizures. I'm 46 yrs old and god has blessed me with 7 children. But i think what's bothering me the most is not feeling like a woman with out my reproductive system.Thus is life changing go me and then having to worry about heart disease afterwards is bless i take hormones and osteoporosis. he don't want to leave my left ovary and there is nothing wrong with it. But ladies i am grateful and thankful that god blessed me to have 7 children. I just want to be alright afterwards. Please say a prayer for me because i'm so afraid of anesthesia.
Hi Pamela, I pray all goes well with your surgery and your recovery. Take it easy after surgery and get plenty of rest. I had some of the same symptoms as you. I had very heavy bleeding, multiple fibroids. I had the fibroids removed once and they grew back. After finding a tumor the doctor recommended the hysterectomy. It was a hard recovery but I'm a lot better now. Tomorrow is my first night back to work. You got this Mama. I'll keep you in my prayers!
Praying that you are recovering well, had I seen your video before I had my surgery a week ago, God knows I wouldn’t had it done. I’ve been putting it off for years.

@@hills_tinyfarmhouselife it’s going well I’m 10 days in post op.. I’m having a lot of gastrointestinal issues, as soon as I eat something the gas kick in.
@@Hooten123 gas X and ginger ale helped me with that issue
This is my 5th week, post op. It was terrible, I am just now getting my bearings back.
@@nieshastrachan899 oh nooo, were you cut open? Today is week 5 for me also and my journey has been going well except for the gas in my stomach or chest.

I'm so sorry you suffered so much after your surgery but I am glad you are much better now. What type of hysterectomy did you have - - - open, laparascopic (traditional), or robotic laparascopic (such as Da Vinci robotic hysterectomy)?? I just can't get over what you went through.
Thank you for your concern. I had a robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy.
