This video shows you how to install fuel injectors your 2004-2009 Toyota Prius. Fuel injectors are computer controlled spray nozzles that deliver fuel to your engine in precisely controlled volumes. They are one of the keys to modern efficient and clean engines. If a fuel injector is dirty or failing, it can present symptoms such as rough idle, engine surges, rich or lean conditions, and check engine lights. Replacing a problematic fuel injector with an engineered to fit TRQ replacement part right away is essential to the health of your vehicle’s engine.
This repair was done on a 2006 Toyota Prius Base 1.5L Hatchback 4-Door FWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

Huge thanks to you. I had this rattle problem on my Gen 2 Prius. Cleaning the injectors with an ultrasonic bath with white vinegar and a little gasoline was the solution. Remember to change the 2 seals as well! And insert the injection rail carefully so as not to damage the new O-ring seals.

Un immense merci à toi. J'ai eu ce problème sur ma Prius 2. Nettoyer les injecteurs avec un bain à ultrasons dans un mélange de vinaigre blanc et d'un peu d'essence était la solution. Pensez à changer les 2 joints également ! Et insérez la rampe d'injection avec précaution pour ne pas endommager les nouveaux joints toriques "O-ring".

Thank you! The plug to one of my fuel injectors is loose, would that necessitate replacing the fuel injector?
Nice job. May I add, at a minumium get a can of electrical cleaner and spray out the plugs and connector ends. You will be surprised how filthy these get.

You conveniently skipped over showing just how difficult the right-most injector is to get out and in, without destroying the bottom and/or top seal, thanks to how the valve cover goes over the solid fuel tube to the injector rail.
