I've been watching soft plastic making videos for about 5 years now and your channel has quickly become #1 in my opinion. Very thorough, very informative, and very helpful. Congratulations on another top notch segment, Jake.
Love this series, it would have saved me money when I started out, food for thought and it might be harder to do but I would like see this same concept but with the flakes it self, I have bought so many brands flakes of the same color trying find the best one that doesn't bleed or fold.
The flake series is a great idea as well!! For me personally I think Baitplastics flake holds up better than any other brand as far as standard flakes but I would be really curious to do those test. Thanks for the idea and thanks for watching!!
Great video! Really nice comparisons! Hands down, my favorites were all of them with the green fleck! Thanks for sharing this buddy! Keep up the good work!
Junebug was very popular back in the South/Midwest areas but isn’t used as much out on the west coast from what I’ve seen. I still use it a lot for finesse worms and creature baits
Thanks so much for this! Honestly I can find a situation for all of them 🤣 Great tips and thank you for sharing the flake color change on the first one 🍇✅🎣🎣🎣 💯
Thank you for this video, I have 2 of these colors and they are too blue for my liking, I prefer more on the red side and now I know what 2 colors I really need, thanks again
I’m trying to do more of these to save people the trouble lol. Let me know what other colors you would like to see comparisons of. Green pumpkin is next on the list
@@N2TW_customlures I have GP (DoP, BP, Do-It), and Watermelon (DoP, BP, LW, Do-It). I also have an old Bears Watermelon 1oz if you'd like to add any to your next comparisons.
@@jayminer9416 I already have all of the green pumpkins and most of the watermelons. I tried to order them all at the same time I ordered the junebugs to cut down on shipping cost lol
Great content! Love that mold. Always shoots great and reasonably priced. No opinion on the color. Crazy how different they all are. Looking forward to the green pumpkin and hear everyone's opinion. Thanks again!!
This would be a great series man. It would be nice to see GP & Watermelon, in this same format. If you need any, I have a few brands of each (DoP, LW, BP, Do-It, & Ozark Tackle)
@@N2TW_customlures I have it if you'd like to try it out. I just found a Bugmolds GP too laying around. Sidenote....if you do a watermelon one....I have a 1oz bottle of Bears from awhile back.
Thank you. These are very helpful. When they all have the same name, it turns into a half guessing game. What's the number on the Do-It Junebug? I have one that's maybe 2 years old, but it's a changeable. I'm wondering if they changed it or if it's only when it's mixed more on the opaque side. Another great video ++
The only number on my bottle is 025724914082. It’s their essential series colorant and I recently picked up this bottle from tackle warehouse. I’ve heard from someone else that their older stuff was more like the golden grub version so they might have changed it a little. This bottle that I have is actually really good tho and very potent
I just found your channel! Great videos! As you said in another comment about West Coast I never see anyone using June Bug. I picked up a bag recently but haven’t had a chance to get out. They have to work just as well here on our spots or delta large mouth as anywhere else. You channel is inspiring me to get the plastic making gear out, Thank you. What mold is this one? I like the profile.
I really appreciate it 🤙 ya it’s weird how little junebug gets used out west lol. This mold is the Angling AI phantom grub. I’ll leave the link down below anglingai.com/3-5-phantom-core-shot-grub-mold/

I truly appreciate that Guy!! There are some great channels out there so that means a lot 🤝
You should do a video on presto pots for soft plastics.
I can add it to the list. I don’t use them very often but the next time I get it out I’ll try to make a video of it
Love the comparison on colors! Gives you a good idea of each brand! Thanks for taking the time to do the videos!
Thanks Bryan!! It definitely takes a lot of time for these videos but I feel like it’s one of the more helpful style of videos

@@N2TW_customlures I agree with your assessment
@@jimk4267 I grabbed a couple of their flakes with one of my plastisol orders to try and now it’s all I use as far as standard flakes
It would be cool to see two of the most different pigments laminated in a single mould!
That’s a good idea!! I might have to try that out. Thanks for watching 🤙
That's a great comparison, thanks so much for posting. Keep them coming, love your content. I hope you have a fantastic week!
Thanks Tim!! Appreciate the support and we will keep the videos coming
I like the do-it Junebug the best. Has a slight red to it and o really like that
I was pleasantly surprised with that one. I like it a lot as well! Thanks for watching

Thanks David!! It’s really cool to see how much each one varies from brand to brand
Another great video. Very informative and helpful. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!! I appreciate it
Really like the mold. I have one and use it a lot. Can't seem to sell any Junebug lures in this area. Like your videos. Keep the coming when you can/

That’s my goal with these videos is to narrow down the options to help people get what they actually want!! Thanks for watching
Great work! I don't prefer the versions that are more red. This would have saved me buying so many different purples, lol.

Thanks Jim!! I was really surprised at how different these all were. I was expecting slight differences but didn’t see this much of a variety coming
Thanks for the video. Really helpful for a beginner like me.
You’re welcome !! We’re gonna try to do more of these soon. Green pumpkin is up next

Great video again bud! I'd have to go with lureworks, that's the shade color I think of when it comes to junebug
Thank you!! I agree that the Lureworks is one of the more traditional junebugs

What were your drop counts on the lureworks? That's exactly what I'm looking to get.
I don’t remember the exact number of drops but the translucent was roughly 20 drops per cup and the more saturated was around 35-40 drops per cup
