The 2021 Fall Big Bass on the Lake of the Ozarks was held on October 2-3, 2021. It was a pretty tough weekend of fishing due to the massive rain we had on Saturday morning. I tell you what, it's tough to record when its that wet outside but I told myself I wasn't going to bail on filming. Saturday was the toughest day for me and my uncle, I caught a few nice fish and I messed up being the net man for my uncle causing him to lose a VERY nice fish at the boat. We mainly threw top water and I also threw a big swimbait as well. The top water is what we mainly caught all of our fish on that day. Day 2 was a much better day for myself. After a friendly rivalry struck up at the house after day one, we had a side bet of $20.00 a person with our family friends that were also fishing and staying at my uncles place. I switched up my tactics and stuck with top water in the AM flipped a jig ALLL day. Of course I DIDN'T have my go pro on when I caught my fish that won me a check but I did get the weigh-in. But I did end up cashing my first paycheck in the BBB and I won the side pot bet!!! That was the 2nd time I have missed out on recording me catching my two biggest fish in the BBB tournaments.
I want to give a shoutout once again to my Uncle Ron who lets me join him on these tournaments, we always have an awesome time out on the water together and I cherish all of those memories.
